Chapter 21 - chapter 21

The Prophecy of the Ancients

As we walked away from the clearing, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and awe at the gifts we had received. The crystal and the sword were not just symbols of our inner strength and courage, but also reminders of the journey we had been on and the lessons we had learned.

But as we walked, I began to feel a sense of unease. The goddess had said that we had passed the trial of the soul, but what did that mean? What lay ahead for us now?

And then, I heard a whisper in my ear. It was a soft, gentle voice, and it seemed to be coming from the crystal.

"The prophecy of the ancients is unfolding," it said. "The balance of the worlds is shifting, and you have been chosen to play a key role in its fate."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I turned to look at Riven. He was staring at me with a mixture of concern and curiosity.

"What does it mean?" I asked him, my voice barely above a whisper.

He shook his head. "I don't know," he said. "But I think it's connected to the prophecy of the ancients."

And then, I saw it. A vision flashed before my eyes, showing me a world in chaos and destruction. The skies were dark and foreboding, and the land was scarred and barren.

But amidst the chaos, I saw a glimmer of hope. A group of warriors, led by a young woman with a fierce determination in her eyes, were fighting against an army of darkness.

I felt a sense of clarity wash over me as I realized what was happening. The prophecy was coming true, and we were at its center.

We were the chosen ones, destined to play a key role in shaping the fate of the world.

And as I looked at Riven, I knew that we had to face this challenge together. We had come too far to turn back now.

What lay ahead for us now?
