The Journey Begins:
I take a deep breath and nod my head. "I'll do it," I say. "I'll go with you to uncover the secrets of the ancient door."
Riven's grin grows wider. "Excellent," he says. "We'll leave immediately."
The woman nods in agreement. "I'll come with you," she says. "We'll need to be careful, though. The journey won't be easy."
I feel a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation. I have no idea what lies ahead, but I'm determined to find out.
As we make our way through the winding streets of the underground city, I notice that the buildings seem to grow taller and more imposing. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and mold, and I can hear the sound of dripping water echoing through the tunnels.
We finally reach the edge of the city, and I see a vast expanse of darkness stretching out before me. The woman produces a small torch and lights it, casting flickering shadows on the walls.
"This is the entrance to the forest," she says. "Be careful, it's not safe here."
Riven nods in agreement. "We'll need to be quiet and keep our wits about us," he says. "We don't know what kind of dangers we might face."
As we step into the forest, I feel a sense of unease growing inside me. The trees seem to loom over us, their branches creaking and swaying in the wind. I can feel eyes watching us from the shadows, and I shiver with fear.
Suddenly, Riven stops in his tracks. "Wait," he says. "Do you hear that?"
I listen closely, and I hear a faint whispering in my ear. It's hard to make out what the voices are saying, but they seem to be calling out to me.
"What is it?" I ask Riven.
Riven's eyes are fixed intently on something ahead. "I think we're being summoned," he says. "Follow me."
He leads us deeper into the forest, following the sound of the whispering voices. As we walk, I feel a sense of excitement building inside me. What secrets are we about to uncover?
Do I trust Riven and his instincts?
