"ughhhh.... Wake me up in a couple of years," Jack said as he used his helberg for support.
"Hurry up, we still need to report this to Lord gwyn. He must be warned of the abyss movements,"Artorias said.
Jack groaned and looked up to where the entrance was only to see an undead knight there in an elite knight armor set.
"...that's not ominous at all," Jack said.
"Hey Jack," artorias said as he grabbed the back of his armor.
"Huh?" Before he got flung through the air.
Ok the bright side, he got up on top of the ledge on the bedside, his back hurt.
"Thank you fellow human," Jack said as he got helped up by the chosen undead.
Imagine Jack's surprise meanwhile when this woman's eyes suddenly showed stars of admiration.
"Mmm, your soul. It's certainly powerful... Not pure, but definitely not of a murderous person," Jack had said before throwing some rope and pulling him up.
"Are you Jack," the chosen undead asked in excitement.
"Jack of yharnam is my name," Jack said as he put his helberg on his back, letting it float there.
"I'm so happy to meet you," the woman said as she shook his hand and began listing a bunch of compliments.
Artorias meanwhile gave Jack the "do you know this woman".
"I never caught your name," Jack asked the chosen undead
"Huh. I thought I had introduced myself. My name is friede my lord," the chosen undead said.
Jack had visibly flinched as he heard the Lord title. Receiving the Lord title was reserved for people of great power.
Nito, seathe, gwyn, and the witch of izalith.
To hear a woman call him that with such familiarity was something Jack had never expected.
"I'm no Lord my lady, merely a knight" Jack said as he smiled softly.
Even artorias let out a slow but deep chuckle. Then he punched Jack's arm playful before letting out a sarcastic bow.
"Oh screw you asshole," Jack chuckled.
"Oh no, you're a living legend where I'm from. Your name is written all over lordran, you were marveled as the undefeated knight, the one who was second only to the king,"Friede said.
Jack, and artorias suddenly stopped dead in their tracks. Normally stuff like this would get you immediately executed for treason.
But they didn't sense any deceitfulness in her tone or in her voice so she was telling the truth. Jack hummed before looking her up and down.
he looked at her armor, and weapon which looked to be run down, he could tell at a glance that this woman had been in many fights.
"Where did you say you were from lady friede?" Jack decided to ask once more.
"From lordran... In the future" she said.
"I see," Jack said as he rubbed his chin.
"Speak not of the future, since your presence can mean said future changing undead." Jack said.
Artorias picked up lady Dusk carefully and we retraced our steps to where sif was hidden by an illusion wall.
Upon seeing sif, Jack noticed that the woman next to him froze, but acted like nothing happened.
Sif let out a howl before artorias, friede and Jack dealt with the leftover humanities that were near.
Sif let out a howl as she tucked her tail between her legs and whined as she cuddled up to artorias.
"thy should go back to where thee has came from. the lord of lordran does not like it when... order is disrupted. thy presence would only hasten his... paranoia," Jack said to the undead.
Jack didn't even have to turn his head as he felt the happiness fade from their companion. He could feel the emotions spike within her, before settling on understanding.
"Remember me. thy will meet me when thy are older,"Friede said before she hugged him.
artorias rolled his eyes at the "couple" but snorted in a playful manner. He walked ahead to leave the "couple" to say their goodbyes.
"Now that he's gone, there's something I must speak to thee about," she said in a serious tone.
Jack's body instantly went ridged by the words she had uttered. When she finished speaking though, Jack's facial expressions went back to normal.
"I see... Thank you for informing me of this information sister friede. if one day thee is in need for me, ring this bell. As you know time isn't exactly stable in lordran, but it should work. be warned though, there is always a price to pay to ring it., so only do so in great importance," Jack said as he pulled a bell out of his coat.
...
Jack watched his undead leave, back into the forest where she once came. really it was of no surprise as he could tell she was definitely strong.
"She was totally into you," artorias said, giving Jack the friendly nudge.
Jack just smiled at artorias before laughing, small as he was, artorias was still standing at a tall 8 feet while growing.
"You know how I like my woman artorias, we wouldn't last," Jack said, shaking his head.
"Violent and prone to kill you?" Artorias respond.
"You know it," Jack said with a final laugh.
And so, they made their way back to anor Londo. But this time was different, as neither duo knew that velka was waiting for them instead of gwyn.
