Chapter 4 - chapter 4

(pov friede)

It wasn't every day you met a legend, but she had met hers. jack... jack of yharnam.

when she returned to fire link shrine, she felt something was different. the air was cleaner, the place also looked well kept, the crestfallen knight looked more cheerful, and hell even Big Hat Logan looked more... sociable.

in the center of the fire link shrine, instead of a bonfire, there was a statue of Velka with Jack kneeling beside her. friede had a scowl on her face as she saw velka because in her mind she was just a homewrecker.

"that stupid harlot," Friede said nervously as she bit her fingernail.

...

meanwhile said people.

"V?" Jack said as he arrived back at Anor Londo.

"your late," V said as she walked towards Jack and looked him up and down, before turning to Artorias and Sif.

"Lady Velka," Artorias said as he took a knee.

"What where?" Jack said looking at their surroundings.

Velka merely smiled before pointing at herself.

"I do believe he's referring to me, Jack," V said.

Jack blinked at her, then looked at Artorias who was sweating nervously.

"Huh... You learn something new every day" Jack said before coughing into his hand.

He then took a kneel next to Artorias (who was still very much taller than him).

"Lady velka," Jack said. He tried not to raise his eyes to meet hers out of embarrassment.

Jack recalled all the embarrassing things that happened during his and "V" 's conversations as they were drunk.

"Come, Lord Gwyn as awaited your return," she said as she turned.

...

"And that is all Lord Gwyn," Artorias said as they knelt in front of the throne.

Jack didn't say anything as he knew his place, which wasn't there. He knew not to speak because believe it or not, it was racism.

He was still human, while everyone here was gods, a Lord (Gwyn), and knights. They looked down on humanity due to their fragile nature, but if there was one thing going for them, it was their will.

"Dismissed," Gwyn said as if this matter wasn't nearly important enough for him to bother with.

...

Jack was in Fire Link City again, though now with a purpose. The chosen undead had given him information about the witch of izalith, which only confirmed his suspicions.

However, his plan backfired—horribly. When he went and had proof that she was trying to replicate the first flame, which he knew would end horribly, she arrested Jack and made a false charge against him.

Little did Jack know, that this was under Gywn's order to, as he was starting to be an eyesore and an insult to all of Anor Londo.

But here Jack stood defiant, looking Gwyn dead in his eye. No, it wasn't anger, but pride. Jack would never lower himself to beg for his life, not to anyone. Especially not for this fraud.

Jack only smiled as this seemed to anger gywn. The sentencing was over just as quickly as it started, but something happened that stunned... Everyone.

People knelt for Jack. Knights, maids, humans, gods, even havel.

People took a kneel for the once great knight of Yharnam, who had been accused of something he didn't commit.

It was obvious in hindsight, that the crimes against him were false, but they couldn't just protest either since they too would suffer a fate worse than mine.

so jack decided to fo something to piss off Gwyn one last time.

"people of anor Londo. Gods, humans, and others. I may have been sentenced to exile, but know this. One day I shall return, and on that day, I promise you, there will be hell to pay.

GLORY TO MANKIND," Jack shouted raising his fist in the air.

"GLORY TO MANKIND," the cries of thousands upon thousands of humans shouted completely drowning out the gods who tried to impose silence.

But Jack was shoved into the painting where all the dangerous threats were kept.

Welcome Jack... To the painted world or Aramis.

The first ever person to set foot into it... Besides the abomination...

sorry for short chapter, I've been quite busy at times and could only find time to write a couple of sentences a day.
