Stephanie's POV
They were at the front of her mother's nursing home; she had left the hospital a while ago, and this was Stephanie's first visit to the nursing home in a while. She was nervous, and her palms were sweaty. Not only was she here, she was also here with Alexander.
"Are you sure you want to come with me?" She asked Alexander, "You really don't have to do this if you don't want to." She wanted Alexander here, so she doesn't understand why she is trying to push him away. This is all so incredibly stupid.
"I wouldn't rather be anywhere else, but the real question now is, are you ready to go in? And do you want me to be there?' He asked questions of his own. "Because it's fine if you're not ready yet or if you want me to wait outside for you. The choice is yours, my love," he smiled at her, like he'd be by her side no matter her decision.
