The sky hung heavy with the oppression of a storm long foretold, a vast expanse of leaden clouds, thick and unmoving, casting their pallor over a desolate and forsaken land. Beneath their sorrowful weight, the ruins of what was once a mighty castle stood crumbling, their grandeur now but a ghostly echo. The air, laden with the scent of decay, whispered of a world that had long since surrendered to the slow and inevitable march of death. No life stirred within these bounds, save for the creeping vines and moss that clung to the decrepit stone, as if nature itself sought to reclaim that which man had stolen.
