"Is that all you want, Sir?" Hyla, the woman that attended to Femi asked with a satisfied smile.
They had left the room at Amma's casino where they took care of Femi.
Hyla along with her assistant led Femi to another of their various companies in Sin City.
They were in a VIP room in a building called Amma's Mall. A room with good conditioning and a view where one could see the majority of the shopping mall. In the middle of the room were two couches facing each other, a table between them. Hyla sat at one couch, her assistant standing quietly behind her, while Femi sat at the opposite chair.
An holographic screen rose from the table, facing Femi. It had a list of various goods and services. He looked through them picking whatever he liked which was also whatever his hunch said he should pick.
Femi let a satisfied smile under his mask, and replied, "Yes. I'm all good now."
"Alright then. Thanks for shopping from us." The woman said.
The table slowly descended, fitting itself to the ground.
With that put aside, the woman stood up, ready to end business.
"Should we handle the delivery? I'm sure you can trust us with your identity to a certain extent now." The woman kept on promoting.
Femi didn't see any problem and gave them a go ahead.
To confirm which port Rimora was parked, he went through the maps displayed on a screen that was displayed by his wrist comm.
"Ehhh, around this location," He located the proximity where the ship was and shared it with them. "Can you guys also give me a ride?"
Hyla was happy, believing that a bond was formed with this customer that was bound to be her money maker for a while.
"Of course," She said, extending her hand to him. "Here's our VIP card. The money you have left is inputted there. Your next earnings with us will also be deposited there. I believe you'll be participating again tonight?"
Femi had left Arwan when it was dawn. At that moment, It was only a few moments until noon.
Femi didn't believe the Arena still had much to offer him, but he knew spending time at the Arena was better than watching Arwan fix and buy techs. It was then his illusory mind screen had a new text, signifying his hunch had a new objective to meet.
Absorbing text, he answered with a smile, "Yes. I'll be at the Arena again tonight and maybe, many more nights."
"Splendid. Our men can also pick you up tonight." She said, satisfied with Femi's decision. "We should go see your new properties now."
Femi nodded and was led out.
*****
They went towards the private parking lots of the mall.
Pecado's sun was uncomfortably hot, which was why people spent their day indoors and proceeded with their activities at night.
Although Femi's mask had a cooling feature, he still felt the heat.
Femi watched as workers of Amma's Enterprises loaded various boxes into a hover car with a big trunk.
"All your stuff is here. Don't judge by the size of the boxes. When you reach your place, you can cross check all you got by checking your purchase history. To do that, just scan the card and you'll get the receipt along with other informations." Hyla said.
"Alright. Bye," Femi waved, walking towards the almost fully loaded vehicle.
"Oh, yes sir. I hope to see you tonight. As your personal supervisor, I'll be sending your fixtures later!" The woman said audibly. She felt very joyful. She was in charge of Scarlet who might be the next Arena big thing. The more he spent at Amma's Enterprise, the more her bonuses increased.
"Good job ma." Her assistant said to her.
"Yes. We need to silently spread Scarlet's name to bring in more viewers for him. The more bets placed on him the better." She instructed.
"On it ma!" The assistant replied.
*****
A personnel from Amma's Enterprise drove Femi through the hoverway and towards the airport. They slowly approached the vehicle elevator where they descended and landed on the grounds of the spaceport.
Femi directed the driver based on his memories towards where Rimora was situated.
Shortly after, they arrived and Femi alighted, leaving the driver to offload the boxes.
Femi walked underneath the ship, towards the hatch. He activated his comm to contact Arwan who was the only one who had access to the hatch.
"Oi, open up the hatch. I want to enter."
"Thank you!" Femi said, cutting the link.
The driver was done offloading. As the boarding stairs extended for Femi to enter, the driver and Femi quickly clarified what time he should come to pick Femi later in the day.
Femi walked the stairs, the view of the cargo coming to play.
"Lil, come help me carry some stuff," Femi called, sensing Eina's presence in the cargo.
~BANG!~
Femi back stepped as a bullet hit where he was about to step on. Rimora floors and walls were built with a strong metal so a bullet with that level of power couldn't dent the floor.
Femi removed his mask, and raised his two hands, "Hey. It's me, It's me." He notified Arwan and Eina who stood in the middle of the cargo.
"Bastard. You'll make me pull my hair out!" Arwan yelled, preparing to shoot another bullet. "Now tell me, why the fuck have you been ignoring my message."
"Ahhh, that... I was busy, I only saw them a while ago. Since I was already on my way here, I found replying unnecessary."Femi shrugged.
"Kick me in the ass." Arwan cursed as he began shooting at Femi again.
Femi just smiled, holding his mask in his right hand and placing his left hand on the left side of his pants, he ran in a zigzag pattern.
With Femi's new level of strength, it wasn't too difficult to dodge Arwan's shots that weren't really heading straight at home.
Femi slowly approached Arwan who kept shooting with frustration and Eina who watched with hidden amusement that was displayed through her transitioning pupils.
On reaching a range where his hand could reach Arwan, he slid and made a sharp get up, immediately closing in on Arwan.
Arwan lost Femi from his view for a moment. He only realized Femi was near him because Femi rubbed something in his face.
"See this," Femi said, leaving the VIP card on Arwan's face.
Arwan acquiesced and read the card. Seeing the VIP emblem, the company name and logo on the card, his face contorted from one of annoyance to confusion.
"How did you get this?" He asked.
Femi was talking to Eina when he heard Arwan's question, "It's all in the hunch's work. While you fixed Eina's bodysuit, I fought and made money to buy us a load of stuff." He said the excuse that spawned into his mind.
"Fought? That doesn't explain much..." Arwan said, feeling like Femi was lying.
"Tsk.... You like going through the boring part" Femi said indifferently, sitting on the floor to explain how his first night in Sin City went.
