In the big white and blue box-like room, Rimora's Cargo, Femi explained his night to Arwan and Eina.
After which, he and Eina began carrying the boxes into the cargo.
Apparently, Arwan found his story unbelievable, making this much money in one night was absurd. Arwan was familiar with riches, even him could be considered rich to an extent, yet he was still in awe.
But what Femi had explained was all true. The spectators of the Arena were all rich. For a battle between a top fighter whose battles they've watched and a young newbie who could be described as cocky and arrogant, it was obvious who they'd spend a lot of money on.
After the person they placed their bet lost, the majority of the payments from the bet went to the winner.
As Femi dropped another box in the cargo, Arwan spoke, "So... all your injuries from the fight are healed, and you're sure."
Femi had already taken off his mask before he started speaking with Arwan. He stroked his chin, then replied, "I mean it's my body and I'm pretty sure I don't have any injury."
"I see," Arwan's mind trailed in thought. "Your hunch is really a cheat. ch. Another blessed bastard."
"I always told you to trust the hunch," Femi smiled.
"What did you buy? Guns? Tether batteries? Maybe... A mech?!" Arwan asked with high expectations.
Femi tilted his head, and replied smugly, "None of those…"
Arwan frowned. "The fuck are in the boxes then."
They finished loading all the boxes in the cargo and the boarding bridge retracted and the hatch closed.
Femi gestured for Arwan to follow him, walking towards where the boxes were placed.
~GBAM!~
Feeling like it's the right time, Eina opened up the boxes, throwing their covers on the cargo floor.
Femi joined her and they began bringing out what was inside the boxes.
There were 17 boxes holding different things like clothes, food ingredients, cooking equipment and oddly enough, a bean bag.
"So this is what you wasted money on? I don't even see anything that's likely to be mine." Arwan frowned as he said. "I expected things like guns, tether batteries and so on. Heck, I expected parts of a mecha."
Femi waved his hand at Arwan as he shrugged it off, "This is not all the money... I didn't even use up to a quarter. I already gave you the card, debit the money that is in there and use it for whatever we need. It's basically all yours, just give me the card in the night, I'll be going out there again and I'll be needing it."
With Femi's proposal, Arwan sighed, "Tch, fine. You want to go fight? Have fun then." He walked towards the door that led to his quarters. "Y'all do your thing... And I'll do mine."
Femi already explained how his hunch had determined that Sin City won't be harmful, and with all the guidance they've gotten from the hunch, there was no reason to not believe it and be a bit carefree.
Arwan had heard and seen a lot of supernatural things performed by blessed and talented people. He had already deemed Femi as someone talented and also someone who was blessed which was also why he designated Femi's hunch as a supernatural blessing that he had.
About crossing the door, Arwan smirked. Without turning his face, he said to Femi, "Thanks though. This and the more that you'll bring will be helpful."
Cutting of ties with Killian meant that Arwan didn't want to have any ties with them. And depending on them caused a tie. Arwan usually collected his allowance from Killian but after leaving Terramoribus, he began thinking of a new source of income. Even if they wanted to do what Wanderers did, they didn't have the best equipment for that.
With what Femi had provided, Arwan found a short term solution to that problem.
'It's not so bad to tap out of someone else's blessing,' Arwan thought with an inward chuckle. 'I guess we'll have to stay on this planet longer. Rimora needed a bit of engineering and redesigning anyway.'
Femi waved as he saw Arwan leave.
Turning towards Eina who was still going through the boxes, he smiled deviously, "You've seen them... Do you like them?"
The majority of the clothing Femi had bought were in fact for Eina.
The petite Eina sat on the floor, a bunch of clothes around her. She still wore Femi's baggy shirt but she now wore the bodysuit that was fitted to her size underneath.
With an emotionless face, but shaking eyes, Lil Eina said, "Mhm. Tha-Thank you."
Femi nodded as he achieved what he wanted. He pointed to the bean bag, "Ah, that's also yours. I felt like it'd suit you. I'm sure Arwan will let you put them wherever."
Seeing how Femi had bought a lot of stuff for her including equipment that'd make her cooking easier, she rose up. Her baggy shirt slightly reduced her movements as the sleeves of the shirt crossed her elbow and knee.
She bowed to Femi in appreciation. Anyone's heart would melt if they could witness how cute she was.
But Femi's heart was sealed along with his emotions, the smile on his face was only there because things were all advantageous to him.
Femi said, "Let's arrange all of this. After, we spar."
Eina nodded, "Alright."
Femi added, "You see when I was fighting earlier, I felt like I grew stronger and I also learnt more. You should try more this time or I might just beat you."
Eina didn't say anything.
Femi and Eina began carrying the stuff to their various suitable places.
Femi had bought all of that and gave Arwan that amount of money so he could stay longer in Sin City and to fill in his free time he'd be sparring with Eina in the training rooms.
When Femi first heard of how dangerous Pecado might be he was happy to meet another opportunity where he would gain his remaining emotions and have humanity like everyone.
But to his disappointment, his hunch didn't show any signs of danger.
Instead, in a few days, something else that'd lead to an eventful situation was waiting for him. This was why he created a plan to extend his stay here.
His new imaginary screen read his goal to achieve in Sin City: Keep going to the Arena and you'll encounter one of the strongest.
