The fight between Eina and Five had been ongoing, with neither overpowering the other.
But, that was from a viewer's perspective.
Between the two who were going against each other, Eina was not trying to win. She only dragged this fight as long as possible to extend the time her fellow breakouts had to do what they intended to.
She didn't even make any attempts to launch a dire attack at Five. She only used her flexibility and eye accuracy to make minimal movement, dodging all the attacks Five sent.
This infuriated Five.
Five was beyond annoyed, making him throw a tantrum, "YOU THIS STUPID CAT! STAY ONE FUCKING PLACE AND LET ME KILL YOU!"
Eina's eyes narrowed as she locked her gaze on Five, her expression icy. She noticed that Five's skin gradually got thicker, his veins becoming darker and wider. Five's body was also becoming bigger.
For the first time in months, Eina's face contorted, forming a frown.
As someone who first hand witnessed multiple experiments like the previous X-1 to X-4 deaths, she discerned that Five was following the same path as them.
When one loses themself and tries to force their inner strength out at once, it eventually leads to one becoming a lost creature... An abomination.
This process that Five was going through was called Rapid Evolution which occurred, mainly, to beings with Self Awareness.
Five was triggered by her past, subconsciously, she became determined to kill Five before he entered the state of living hell. Initially, she had not attempted to kill him because Arwan or Femi didn't tell her to but now, she would.
For someone who witnessed a lot of deaths, she didn't handle deaths well. This was why she wouldn't kill if someone she trusted didn't tell her to kill or if she wasn't in a situation that forced her to kill.
As Eina made her decision, she noticed Five speed and strength had increased making her need to pay more attention to him.
Five punches passed by Eina.
With her following every movement of Five, she moved her body to let the punches pass right by her body with mere centimeters. Five tried pulling his hand back but Eina waited for the perfect moment to dig her sturdy pointed nails into Five's wrist, then swooped in an attempt to cut his wrist off.
Eina was taken aback because of how thicker Five's body had gotten. In contrast to her expectations, the wrist wasn't completely cut off.
Before she completely got used to his changed strength, she was headbutted, sending her crashing to the grounds. Seconds prior to her body crashing to the floor, a direct punch hit her on the chest sending her towards the direction of the unconscious guards.
Standing up, she ignored the pain she felt and cleaned the blood that dripped from her mouth. She ripped off her bloody inmate clothes whilst she watched as the blood in Five's wrist moved like a worm, towards the hand were he was cut and attached back to his body, stopping the oozing blackish-red blood.
Eina could feel the metallic taste in her mouth and smell the blood that came from both ends of the hallway.
Now that she planned on going for a kill, she took off the clothing she wore revealing her scar filled body and the chest that was covered by a small tube top.
She released the suppression for the foreign genes a bit, gaining more strength from her genes and the foreign ones merging. She didn't plan to completely merge the genes - she preferred death to that - Eina believed that this strength she gained now was enough to kill Five before he became a full abomination.
If she wasn't able to kill Five, sorry to her rescuers, sorry to those who she had promised and sorry to those who she forgot because… Everyone in this facility will die miserably in the presence of Five.

Arwan was successfully gaining information as every second passed by.
He has hacked into this facility's documents easily. He was just trying to hack deeper into the collective data of all the bases on this planet.
A time consuming task but fortunately, Arwan had help that made things a lot easier than it's supposed to be.
Arwan was concentrating on the screens in front of him, not taking his eyes off them as he said to his wrist comm, "Have you contacted them?"
"..."
Not hearing any response, Arwan took a deep breath, stopped clicking the keys for a second and brought his wrist comm closer to his mouth, "Killian! You this fucking vampire, reply me!!"
"This bitch. Do you expect me to hear this type of information and be all jolly? Think for once!" Killian replied.
"Tch!" Arwan couldn't retort. The data they were able to get was deeper than expected.
Going through all this information, Arwan thought back to when Gallagher emphasized on the value of connections.
There were 7 facilities similar to the one Arwan was in, on this planet, all ruled by someone who, one way or another, had a big influence in the cities of this planet. Three were owners of popular infrastructures in their respective cities, two had a high position as city enforcers, the rest were like Alicia - the prettiest worker of this planet's HQ - a generally influential person or like Gallagher, an adventurer that had a very proper reputation in the society.
There were also people that worked for all the bases, directly from this planet's Alliance HQ. These ones were mainly outside of the facilities, rarely going there. From the office of the Alliance HQ, they existed to manipulate and transfer information. Using his access to these people's databases, Arwan with the help of Killian got such an extended amount of information.
The former people, Gallagher and the rest, supplied the experiments using various means, while the latter just manipulated information to avert eyes from the missing people.
Asides from the fact that the ranks of those who were trusted had been infiltrated, the experimentations that were carried out here was equally worrisome. Experimentation of young sentient life forms were being carried out with each experiment carrying the risk of creating an Abomination. Be it the experiment as successful or not, their bodies would be sliced open for data collection and those who died were discarded without care.
At the end, these people weren't the ones that made Arwan and Killian worried.
It was the people who came to these bases to carry out the experiments, The Imprius Practice Group and worst of all, the one that brought all of these people together, the "middleman" of the interactions, a group that just recently came to light: The Hollows.
Arwan knew little about The Hollows because of how sensitive the information relating to them was and how deadly even knowing about them were.
Still, he tried diving deeper into the facility's database in hopes of finding something.
"Arwan, I've sent the coordinates of the bases to trusted people from the Terramoribus officials. They'll be heading towards all the facilities, as soon as possible." Killian said
"Got that," Arwan responded, his attention back to being focused on the screens.
"You don't have to endanger yourself this much," Killian said, with a soft, concerned tone.
Arwan sighed, "I have to show workings to that fucking old man. You know that."
"Still, this much danger within your first week? Even Xenon wasn't as crazy as you and the other kid that's with you!" Killian scolded, vibrations from his yell caused Arwan's wrist comm to shake.
Arwan became silent...
"Are you done with locating the exits and all?" Killian asked.
At that instant, Arwan pressed a button dramatically, causing red lights to blink all through the 2nd floor to the ground floor.
Satisfied, Arwan said, "It's sad that I can't get information on The Hollows. But yes, I've accessed all relevant doors and hatches in this facility. I even did some extra work."
After gaining the dossiers of the leader of these bases, Arwan also gained access to the cells of the inmates and changed the max the elevator could closer to one of the exit of the facility.
The moment he clicked the final button, all the inmates were out of their cell. They all rushed the elevator to try their best to exit the hell they've been trapped in for a while now.
Killian let out a sigh as he believed the dangers in the facility were reduced now that there were multiple exits open to Arwwan. "Now, say fuck you to everything and get the hell out of there." He instructed.
Arwan was about to tell Killian to calm down when he heard a ting from the security room's door.
Because he didn't want anyone to know who he was talking to and also because he didn't want Killian to get worried for what's to come, Arwan immediately disconnected the call.
Arwan turned his seat towards the security room entrance to look at who entered.
He was quite surprised and unsurprised at the same time by who it was.
Arwan waved as he stood up.
"Well well well. Look who we have here."
