A mysterious and illogical explosion occurred in the corners of the Galaxy and eventually spread throughout, leading to the galaxy bursting into turmoil.
This chain of explosions caused a galaxy wide quake which was later known as The Chain Reaction.
A few days or months after this occurrence, depending on the planet, land terrains morphed and animals changed in both appearance and actions. The changes appeared fast, but tragedies appeared faster.
Eventually, inhabitants of the galaxy who were smart to create means of survival, those who had strengths that could punch through their problems, others who were already masters at living in a dangerous world or the ones that were blessed with abnormal adaptability, were able to overcome the dangers the Chain Reaction brought about to a favorable extent.
Alas, not all races of the galaxy were skilled enough or lucky enough to be able to beat the dangers of the Chain Reaction. This led to annihilation of some races, planets with their inhabitants completely wiped out underwent uncontrolled and absurd evolution.
At the end of the initial stages after the Chain Reaction, approximately 60% of the galaxy's population died.
After the survivors of CR settled with the changes, inter-planet travel came to existence and the inevitable war between races began.
Some races wanted to rule the galaxy, some wanted to have control over new minerals, some wanted to spread their living space to less dangerous planets. They all fought for their various desires.
Later on, the participants of the war came to understand that it was an unbeneficial war that wasted resources. Ultimately the representatives of these races and sectors came to a pact which led to the creation of the Galactic Alliance.
Supreme Commanders, each from three out of the four main sectors, lead this Galactic Alliance as a Triumvirate.
Seeing all the ground shaking events and changes that happened after the CR, people began to call this the beginning of a new era.
And those who knew more than the average called this era "The Dawn of the Downfall."

[110 Years After The Chain Reaction.]
[Location: Unknown Planet]
As far as one could see, the rocky terrain stretched far and beyond.
Amidst these rocky lands, a fortress stood solely, its buildings extending far into the skies. On top of a pole with a diameter wide enough, a person stood.
With the figure's body shape, it was believed to be a male.
He wore a white suit, a black shirt, and a tie. Covering his face was a black owl-themed mask. Every other exposed part of his body was wrapped with bandages, including his hair.
He slightly moved his head and gazed upwards whilst also raising his bandaged fingers that were coiled with weird strings. After acting like he was checking the direction of the winds, he chuckled.
Inside the fortress, through the linked microphones, his partner heard his amusement. Confused by his actions, she asked, "What's funny?"
In response, he spread his hands to embrace the heavens. He let out a maniacal laugh, "The third wave has begun!"
His partner knew how haywire he could be, but this fellow was acting crazier than supposed. "Puppeteer? What's happening?"
Puppeteer calmed himself. While still spreading his hands, he said, "Oh Monger, you can't feel it. That's sad. The quality of the energy in the air has improved. Don't worry, you'll begin feeling it soon. The galaxy's most cherished energy is converging once more. Haha hahahaha," Puppeteer ended with another maniacal laugh.
On the other side of the microphone, the hot-tempered Monger stayed quiet. She hated being left in the dark.
Puppeteer guessed her thoughts and simplified for her, "All I mean is, the plan begins, the crimson flower will bloom."
Finally grasping what he meant, Monger also laughed, "Kufufu. You should have said so sooner! How I've longed for you to say that."
With that, the communication cut. Monger knew what to do. She was to inform everyone that their long-planned scheme would begin.
Now left alone, Puppeteer was once again standing still, overseeing the fortress. He stretched his hands forward and moved his fingers. As the fingers moved, the strings on his hands uncoiled.
They fell from the tip of his fingers and the strings stretched into the land. At the same time, the ground shook massively. The rocky land started to break as though something was coming from underneath.
While still moving his hands, Puppeteer danced as he sang his favorite song.
[When the third wave emerges, the stage curtains shall rise.
Then as their crimson blood rushes, I shall revel in their tears and cries.
The sorrows and grief will descend, next is to revere!]
By the time he was done singing, the terrain had already completely changed. Debris and holes were here and there. There were also two 60ft creatures—a black bear and a green snake—now overlooking the fortress along with Puppeteer.
Puppeteer was now satisfied. Jokingly, he murmured to himself, "Will a red suit look good on me?"
