[This chapter is an auxiliary chapter to describe the lore and mechanics of this world. There will be no spoilers and new stuff will be revealed in the later chapters]

-Ancient History:

In ancient times, people used to have powers which fell dormant right at the moment that Niles, one of the main characters fell asleep. Any source or book containing mentions to this power was burned, along with any human that tried to spread the knowledge of this power, hence it became forgotten knowledge only known to the Elite. As Niles awakens, so does the world currently in its modern era, and humans start using these unknown powers again.

-Modern World:

As Niles awakes, powers also awake along with him. This story is based in the early 21st Century where history is the exact same as ours, but as Niles woke up the world took a massive turn. With these new powers, humanity was in chaos. People were using it for murder,robbery and other crimes, and other people were using it for good, and yet other people remained either neutral, or never got powers.

-Beginning lore:

Arthur, a 21 years old university student fell down a ravine in Egypt where he found an ancient tomb. In this tomb was a man, an alive man, who he can't communicate with. Arthur tries to help the mysterious man by getting the man to learn basic modern language. After learning English overnight, he tells Arthur to call him Niles and forces him to learn how to use his power, his Aura.

-Aura:

This is the power system of the world. Only people that are 'Chosen' can use Aura.

Aura allows a person to enhance his physical and mental abilities, along with a special ability and the ability to summon an item. When a person over exerts themselves or uses their ability or item, Aura becomes visible and it takes the form of a fire or smoke surrounding the person, and it's made up of two colours unique to the user.

-Main Characters:

Arthur Baron; English 21 year old man coming from a noble family that fell a couple of centuries prior. His descendants were of Italian and Greek descent. 6'3 with blonde hair and turquoise eyes. His body is fit, well-versed in martial arts along with a strong sense of justice to go along with his body. He planned to join the military or the police force, but was denied by his parents and instead went to University to study Astrophysics where he could put his intellect to use instead.

Niles; Mysterious man that was in a tomb for millennia. Teaches Arthur how to use his gifts to the fullest. Extremely smart, he learned English and Arabic overnight as Arthur was sleeping. He has a dark complexion and extremely short black hair, but with amber eyes that seemed to glow. His body is riddled with scars and always tries to avoid talking about it. He always smiles and emits a positive vibe, but deep in his eyes a different story is told. He keeps himself unknown to Arthur, not even his name is actually Niles, Arthur suspects.
