I rush with the Jordans to the break room where loud voices and screams echo. My heart is pounding, and adrenaline is flooding my veins. Lisa's scream and her cries make me react instinctively. I don't take the time to think; I literally rip the door from its frame, sending shards of wood flying across the room.
The scene that unfolds is chaotic and chilling. Wesker, in black combat gear, stands there with a cold expression, a gun in his hand. Beside him, Barry, visibly nervous, also points his gun in our direction. Lisa, terrified, cries as she hides behind Zeus, whose imposing mass tries to protect her. Pascal and Steve are on the ground, wounded by bullets, their blood spilling on the floor.
"Dad!" Lisa cries, crying, her voice broken by fear.
The air is heavy with tension. Wesker's eyes shine with a malicious glint, while Barry seems torn between obedience and guilt. The Jordans position themselves around me, aiming their weapons at the two members of Alpha Team.
Without wasting a moment, I run to Pascal and Steve to check their injuries. Pascal has a bullet wound on his left shoulder, bleeding but clean. Steve, meanwhile, was hit in the right thigh, a deep but fortunately non-fatal wound. Since they have been my subordinates, they benefit from better regeneration, although it is not comparable to that provided by the factory.
"It's going to be okay, guys. You'll be fine," I say, offering them a reassuring smile while applying pressure to the wounds to limit the bleeding.
The Jordans move quickly to provide a screen, holding Wesker and Barry in check, their gazes fixed on the two intruders. Zeus, for his part, blocks Lisa behind him, obeying my silent instructions, his scales glinting slightly in the dim light of the room.
Wesker, despite his disadvantaged position, displays a smirk. "Gerald, what exactly are you doing here? Since when did you become the defender of the oppressed?" he asks, his icy voice echoing in the room.
I look at him with cold determination. "Since I got my plaque, captain," I say with contempt before turning my gaze to Barry.
"I'm disappointed, Barry. After spending time together and even meeting your family, I thought you were a good person," I say, the disappointment palpable in my voice.
Barry lowers his eyes in shame, avoiding my gaze. Wesker, for his part, displays a cold smile. "You know, Gerald, all it takes is a little motivation," he says coldly.
A detail comes back to me. "He's threatening your family, Barry?" I asked, more like a statement than a question.
Barry clenched his fists, his voice shaking as he answered. "Yes... He threatened to kill Kathy and the girls if I didn't do what he asked."
Anger rose inside me, burning like a blazing fire. "Wesker, you truly are a coward. Threatening an innocent family to get what you want?" I spat with disdain.
Wesker doesn't lose his smile. "It's just one of many ways, Gerald. And now, I'm going to show you why you can't stop me."
Without warning, Wesker raises his gun and fires, the bullet flying straight at me. I stare coldly at the bullet, seeing it coming before catching it in my hand. Wesker turns pale before emptying his clip at me, but I catch all the bullets, one by one, under the astonished gaze of Wesker and Barry.
"Jordans, watch Barry and the wounded, I'll be back," I say before using my superhuman abilities for the first time in front of someone other than my subordinates. I drag Wesker into the hallway, dragging him like a canvas sack before finding an empty room a little further away.
The confident and calculating captain is gone, replaced by a terrified man. I drop him to the floor in the room, staring at him with cold determination.
"Gerald, listen to me, I... I can give you whatever you want. Power, wealth..." Wesker pleads, his voice trembling, his eyes filled with fear.
Wesker shakily backs away as I step towards him, a cold glint of determination in my eyes.
"No, I have a better plan, but don't worry Captain, you're not going to die," I say as I step closer, smiling as I grab his hand to pull him to his feet.
I bite his hand hard. He lets out a choked cry, his eyes widening in terror. He pushes me back hard, throwing me against a wall, but the spasms begin almost immediately. His veins begin to pulse unnaturally, swelling and turning electric blue around his arms and neck. He convulses, punching and smashing furniture as if it were cardboard.
His muscles seem to bulge beneath his skin, his features hardening as his body reaches its physical peak. His breathing is panting, his bloodshot eyes staring at an invisible point as the pain gives way to a sort of euphoric frenzy.
"Yes... I can feel the power... incredible..." he whispers hoarsely, his hands clenched into fists, destroying everything he touches. "Gerald, you should never have..."
Before he can finish his sentence, my vines shoot out from my back, wrapping around his arms and legs, instantly immobilizing him. He tries to struggle, but the vines tighten, blocking his movements with an unrelenting force.
"What... what did you do to me?" " he yells, his voice shaking with rage and confusion.
I approach slowly, a cold smile on my lips. "Welcome to your new reality, Wesker. You may have gained strength, but you are nothing compared to me."
I lower him to my level as I force him to kneel while keeping my vines on him. I place my hand on his head before saying in a contemptuous tone.
" you will become my devoted servant, I hope you enjoy your new life in my service"

Wesker turns pale at my words, his eyes wide with terror. He screams and struggles furiously, but despite his newfound power, he barely manages to move under my obstruction.
I bite my lip, smiling before summoning Marcus, who appears with a look of glee on his face.
"You, how can you be here!" Wesker swears, his eyes flashing with rage.
Marcus slowly steps forward, savoring every moment of the scene. "Ah, Albert, what a pleasure to see you like this. Gerald, I thank you for this gift. Really, you'll have to invite me for Birkins as well."
Wesker, lost in his rage, continues to struggle without being able to fight. His cries of frustration echo through the room, but the vines hold him firmly in place.
"I'm going to... I'm going to kill you both!" " he yells, his voice cracking with the intensity of his anger.
Marcus laughs softly, a cold, mocking sound. "You're pathetic, Wesker. You thought you could dominate everyone, but look at yourself now. You're nothing more than a toy in the hands of someone more powerful."
I tighten my vines a little more, cutting off Wesker's breathing just enough for him to stop screaming, his eyes rolling in their sockets.
"Enjoy your new reality, Albert," I say calmly. "You've become what you feared most: a puppet, with no control over your own destiny."

Notification
The host was sent to this world to go through the different stages of the games, he has the right to his free will and can do whatever he wants in this world as long as he has the abilities.
There is just one rule regarding chronological events, as before. If the host disrupts the progress of an Opus, he will have to provide compensation.
Only major events count, the presence of Wesker as a hidden element behind many plots and development of biological weapons can be counted as an exception, but even in the event of penalties, the host will only have to compensate with a similar individual for the needs of the plot.
I take the time to analyze the information received, it seems that my presence here is not simply a reincarnation as in the stories I have read. Whoever it is, they sent me here for a purpose and do not want me to be able destroy the plot.
It seems like he wants me to capture more biological weapons but for what purpose. I think for several minutes before giving up, anyway, I have no say in the matter, nor the ability to thwart their decision so I might as well go with the flow and enjoy this life to the fullest.
I return to the break room with a clone of Wesker by my side. As soon as Lisa sees me, she runs towards me and jumps into my arms, seeking comfort. I hold her against me, whisper softly to reassure her and stroke her hair.
"It's okay, sweetheart. Daddy's here," I say, smiling at her tenderly.
My gaze then falls on Barry. His eyes shift from the clone of Wesker to me, a glint of doubt and fear shining in his eyes. He can't understand what he's seeing, and the worry is clearly visible on his face.
Pascal and Steve stand nearby, their injuries fully healed. Barry watches them, amazed by their regenerative abilities.
"How...?" Barry whispers, unable to look away from Pascal and Steve.
"Things have changed, Barry," I say, hugging Lisa a little tighter. "And this is just the beginning."
Barry remains silent, his thoughts visible in his eyes. It is clear that he has many questions, but for now, he keeps his doubts to himself. The situation has become more complex, and he must adapt to this new reality.
I gently place Lisa in the chair after rocking her for a moment, her eyes slowly closing as I whisper soothing words to her. I bring Zeus to her side, the enormous eel gently curling its head against the little girl's body. She falls asleep peacefully, a tender smile playing on her lips as she hugs Zeus' body like a stuffed animal.
"Sweet dreams, sweetheart," I whispered before getting up and motioning for Pascal and Steve to stay here. I left the room, accompanied by the Jordans, Barry, and the Wesker clone.
"Barry, first of all, know that I'm sorry," I said, summoning a leech. The leech bit Barry as my vines came out to immobilize him, one of them holding his jaw firmly so he wouldn't scream.
I then bit him, thus finalizing his conversion into Zombie G before making him my subordinate, like Enrico or Edward. Unlike Rebecca and Billy, Barry had seen too much of me for me not to take precautions.
After finishing this little process, I released him. He looked at his own body with an expression of surprise mixed with fascination before giving me a right for the sake of it. My head barely moved, while Barry held his hand painfully.
"Fuck, Gerald, you better tell me what's going on now," he groans, massaging his wrist, a grimace of pain on his face.
I can't help but laugh slightly. "Barry, you just hit a wall. I have some stuff to explain to you, but it's a long story. For now, just know that you're part of the team, and that you're tougher than before."
Barry shakes his head, incredulous. "I hope it's worth it," he says, smiling in spite of himself, trying to adapt to this new absurd reality.
(Ed: surprise, I'll leave it to the more adventurous to imagine my plans but I'm sure you're not ready, no need to ask questions on this specific point because I don't want to spoil, just that it will probably take at least 50 more chapters ^^ patience ahahaha)
