Chapter 41 - Chapter 39: Back To The Real World

After returning to her home world, Aether stood for a moment on a quiet path, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds chirping. She took a deep breath, trying to get rid of the tiredness and confusion that still hung in her mind. "I'm back," She muttered while looking at her slightly shaking hands. "But will my powers come back too?"

She decided to try out one of his magics that e lost when she was in the previous world. "Dragon Teeth," Aether said in a voice full of hope. Aether raised her hand, pointed it forward, and focused on the spell she had memorized by heart.

Suddenly, Fire Magic Appeared From Her Hands. "Succeed!" Aether exclaimed, feeling relieved and happy. The Destruction Magic vibrated, emitting a powerful magical aura before finally disappearing again.

Aether smiled slightly, feeling that his magical power had fully recovered. "At least I have one good thing after all this," She said to himself. She decided to check the status further. With a simple movement, she Doing A rehabilitation As She Did Before, a magical system that allowed Aether to check her level and abilities At Tree Of Skill.

A holographic display appeared in front Aether, displaying her stats and the abilities she possessed. She looked at her level, which seemed to have increased after all her adventures in the dark world. "Level 35," Aether muttered with a satisfied smile. "And there are some new skills..."

Aether looked at the Tree Level which showed the ability tree and the various skills she had unlocked. There are skills that appear to glow, indicating that the skill has been completely mastered. One of the new skills he saw was "Shadow Embrace", an ability that allowed Aether to shroud herself in darkness And Shadow, making her invisible for a certain period of time. "This will be very useful," She thought.

However, as aether checked further, she suddenly felt a strange presence nearby. Aether turned her head, her eyes caught a black-robed figure standing several meters away from him. The woman wore a long robe with a hood that covered most of her face, only bright green eyes were visible from the shadow of the hood.

Aether felt a chill run along her spine. She felt something unusual about this woman, something that seemed to remind her of the dark world she had just left.

The woman slowly removed her veil, revealing her face. She had long, yellow blonde hair and a faint smile that looked mysterious. "Welcome back, Aether," She said in a soft but powerful voice. "I've been waiting for you."

Aether was shocked, not only because of the woman's words, but also because of her name. "Who are you?" She asked, trying to remain calm even though her heart was racing. "How do you know my name?"

The woman smiled wider. "My name is Aetherius Seraphina," She said With Calmly. "And I know more about you than you think."

Aether was surprised to hear the name—Aetherius. The name was very similar to her own name, and it made her feel uncomfortable. "Aetherius... Seraphina?" She repeated, trying to digest the information. "Why is your name so similar to mine?"

Seraphina smiled faintly. "Because we are more connected than you imagine, Aether. We are both part of the same destiny, just on different sides of the mirror."

Aether felt confusion mixed with wariness. "What do you mean by that? Why are you here? And what do you know about the dark world I just left?"

The woman stepped closer, her blue eyes gleaming with a mysterious light. "I know that you have met the figure in the yellow robe," She said calmly. "She is the keeper of R'lyeh, keeper of the secrets hidden within the Necronomicon. And you, Aether, have awakened something far greater than you could have imagined."

Aether felt her breath catch. "You know about the Necronomicon?" She asked in a voice full of tension. "What actually happened there? And why did I have to go through all that?"

Seraphina looked at her with a knowing look. "The Necronomicon is one of the many forbidden books that holds knowledge of darkness and powers that exist beyond our understanding. You read some of its contents, unlocking some of its secrets. However, there is more you don't know yet."

Aether felt a chill down her spine. "So what do you want from me? Are you here to stop me?"

Seraphina shook her head. "No, Aether. I am not here to stop you, but to guide you. The world you see there is only a shadow of what really exists. And I am here to show you the path to greater understanding, to help you find your true purpose. "

Aether felt a mixture of fear and curiosity. "Why should I believe you?" She asked finally, trying to keep her voice from sounding too weak.

Seraphina smiled again, her smile filled with wisdom that seemed beyond her years. "Because I am part of your destiny, just as you are part of mine. We both have a role in maintaining the balance between light and darkness."

Aether fell silent, thinking about Seraphina's words. She didn't know whether she could trust this woman or not, but there was something about the way she spoke and about the knowledge she possessed that made Aether feel that maybe, just maybe, she was the ally he needed.

"What should I do now?" Aether asked quietly, his eyes looking directly into Seraphina's sparkling eyes.

Seraphina stepped closer, placing her hand gently on Aether's shoulder. "You must continue your journey," She said in a voice full of conviction. "You must find the lost balance, and to do so, you must understand both light and darkness. This world is still full of mysteries that you must solve."

Aether nodded slowly, feeling a little calmer. "Okay," he said in a more steady voice. "I will continue this journey. And if you are truly here to help me, then I will accept your help."

Seraphina smiled, her eyes filled with warmth. "Well done, Aether. Together, we will uncover the secrets hidden in the shadows."

With those words, Aether felt a new spirit welling up within her. She knew that her journey had just entered a new chapter, and although the road ahead might be full of danger and uncertainty, she would not back down. With Seraphina beside her, she felt a little more prepared to face whatever was to come.

The two of them continue their journey, walking side by side towards a future that is unclear but full of hope and mystery waiting to be revealed. This world still holds many secrets, and Aether knows that she will do whatever it takes to find the truth and maintain the balance between light and darkness.
