Chapter 30 - Chapter 29: Stuck In Another Nightmare

Story Continues Into Aether When She opened her eyes, She felt her body was lighter and smaller than usual. She stood on a creaky wooden floor in a dark, narrow room. The walls looked old and damaged, as if this place had been abandoned for a long time. The sound of the clock rustling and ticking could be heard faintly in the distance, creating an eerie atmosphere.

"Where am I?" Aether muttered, his voice sounding higher and softer than usual. She looked down and was surprised to see her small body and yellow raincoat. "Am...am I getting small? She felt around her body, feeling confused and a little panicked.

Aether walked slowly, feeling a strange fear but also great curiosity. Every step he took made the wooden floor creak, adding to the mysterious atmosphere of the place. She saw a mirror in the corner of the room and walked over to look at himself.

When looking in the mirror, Aether was surprised to see a different face from the one She knew. "I... I became a child?" She said in a disbelieving tone. The face in the mirror was that of a little girl with short black hair and big eyes. She was wearing a yellow raincoat that was a little too big for her petite frame.

"Oh, no. I entered another world again," Aether sighed. She turned around and looked around, looking for clues on what to do next. The room is full of old and strange objects: a wall clock that has stopped moving, scary-looking dolls, and a small table with almost burnt-out candles.

"Okay, Aether," he said to himself, trying to calm himself down. "You've been through worse. Focus and find a way out."

Suddenly, She heard the sound of heavy footsteps in the distance. Aether froze for a moment, trying to hold his breath. "Who's that?" She whispered, feeling his heart pounding. She quickly looked for a place to hide, and saw an old cupboard in the corner of the room. Quickly, She ran and entered the cupboard, closing the door slowly.

From the crack of the door, she saw a big and tall figure walk into the room. The creature had a fat body with long arms hanging down. His face was hidden behind a black cloth, but Aether could feel a frightening aura from him.

The creature stopped in the middle of the room and sniffed the air, as if looking for something. Aether felt frightened, but She tried not to make a sound. The creature growled softly, then began to search the room, looking for something with its long arms.

Aether held her breath, hoping the creature wouldn't find his hiding place. She felt her whole body tremble, but She tried to remain calm. The creature walked closer to the cupboard, and Aether could hear the sound of its heavy, rough breathing.

"Come on, just go," Aether thought frantically. She closed her eyes, praying that the creature wouldn't open the cupboard door.

After what felt like forever, the creature finally left, leaving the room. Aether opened the cupboard door slowly and peeked out. The room was empty. She breathed a sigh of relief, but She knew that this was not over.

She came out of the cupboard and looked around. "I have to get out of here," She said to himself. "And hopefully I don't meet any other scary creatures."

Aether continued her journey through dark and winding passages. She felt like he was trapped inside a strange nightmare, but he couldn't let fear stop him. She must find a way out of this world and return to his own world.

As Aether walked down the narrow halls, she felt something strange. Unlike in the previous world, she did not feel any magical power or abilities within herself. she tried moving his hands to create light or use other powers, but nothing happened.

"Oh, great," She muttered, frustrated. "I really became a child without any power." She took a deep breath and tried to stay positive. "At least, I still have this brain," she said while tapping his head with his finger, trying to make himself smile.

She continued her journey and found a small door at the end of the hall. She bent down and crawled through the door, finding himself in a small room that looked like a kitchen. There, she saw a large table with various kitchen utensils and stale-looking food.

"Is there anything I can eat here?" Aether thought while sniffing. Her stomach began to growl, reminding him that he had not eaten since arriving in this world. She saw an old, half-cut piece of bread on the table and immediately took it.

When he bit into the bread, it was bland and hard, but he didn't care. "At least it's better than nothing," She said with his mouth full. She continued eating heartily, trying to get the energy to continue the journey.

Suddenly, she heard a strange laughing sound from behind her. Aether turned around quickly and saw two small creatures with fat bodies and silly faces standing by the door. They looked like chefs with big hats and dirty kitchen clothes.

"Hey, look! A hungry little kid!" exclaimed one of them hoarsely and laughing loudly.

"You stole my food!" said the other in a mocking tone. They walked closer with short, comical steps.

Aether felt a little nervous, but he tried to act calm. "I didn't steal anything," she said, stepping back. "I'm just... looking for something to eat."

The two creatures laughed again, louder this time. "You dare steal from our kitchen?" exclaimed one of them. "We will make you a special dish!"

Aether felt his heart pounding. "That's a joke, right?" She asked worriedly, but the two chefs didn't stop approaching. She knew that She had to get out of this room immediately.

Quickly, Aether jumped onto the table and ran towards another door on the side of the room. The chefs tried to chase him with their fat, slow hands, but Aether managed to escape. Aether opened the door and exited into another hallway, then closed the door behind him.

"Fuh, congratulations!" Aether breathed a sigh of relief. "They're really scary, even though they look ridiculous." Aether smiled slightly, feeling proud that he had managed to escape from that dangerous situation. "But I have to be more careful. The world is full of surprises."

Aether continued his journey, feeling a little more optimistic. aether has no strength or weapons, but he still has intelligence and courage.

Aether continued walking down the dark and narrow hallways. The old wooden walls felt damp and cracked in places, creating an atmosphere filled with uncertainty. The occasional sound of creaking wood made him even more alert. Every corner looked eerie, and shadows moved at the corners of his eyes like dark figures lurking.

"This really is like a nightmare," Aether muttered, trying to calm himself. "But I have to stay calm. Focus on the way out."

Aether arrived at a crossroads. To the right, the passage grew darker, as if no light could penetrate it. To the left, there was a small door with a faint slit of light leaking out from beneath it. Aether decided to follow the light, hoping to find something that could help him.

As Aether approached the door, Aether heard strange noises from inside. Aether put his ear to the door and listened carefully. There was a sound of muttering and small steps, like the sound of a small creature running. He took a deep breath and opened the door slowly.

In the room, Aether found a group of small creatures with round bodies and plain faces. They looked like children playing, but with worn and torn clothes. The creatures stopped playing and looked at Aether with big, curious eyes.

"Uh, hello?" Aether said doubtfully. "I... I didn't mean to interrupt."

The creatures looked at each other, then one of them stepped forward. "Who are you?" asked the creature in a small, soft voice.

"I'm... Aether," he answered, feeling a little strange about talking to these little creatures. "I'm lost in this place. Do you know how to get out?"

The creatures whispered to each other, then the one at the front spoke again. "We don't know the way out," he said quietly. "But we know a safe place. A place where monsters can't get in."

Aether felt a little relieved. "Can you guys show me the place?" he asked. The little creatures nodded in unison and started walking towards the other door in the room. Aether followed them carefully.

They walked through increasingly narrow and dark corridors. The little creatures moved nimbly, as if they were used to this place. Aether had to try hard to keep up with them, but he felt grateful that they were helping him.

Finally, they arrived at a small room that looked like a hiding space. Inside the room, there were several small beds made from torn rags and wooden boxes. The creatures pointed to one corner of the room that seemed cozier than the others.

"You can rest here," said one of the creatures with a small smile. "This is our safe place. No monsters can enter."

Aether smiled and felt relieved. "Thank you very much," he said sincerely. He sat in the corner of the room and breathed a sigh of relief. This place was small and simple, but it was much better than the dark alleys out there.

Aether looked at the little creatures curiously. "Who are you really?" he asked.

The creature at the front answered, "We... the lost children. We live here because there is no other place. We don't remember where we came from, but we are always together."

Aether felt his heart touched by hearing their story. "You guys are very brave," he said with a smile. "I'm lost too, but I'll find a way out and take you guys with me."

The creatures looked at each other with hope in their eyes. "You... want to help us?" asked one of them.

Aether nodded with full confidence. "Of course. We will get out of this place together."

They sat together and shared stories. Aether told of his journey so far, and the little creatures told him about dangerous places in this world and creatures to avoid. They laughed a little when Aether told about the fat chefs who were silly and funny, even though they were scary.

Aether felt a little better with their presence. She felt there was hope of getting out of this world, even if it was just a small hope. That night, She rested in relief, surrounded by her new little friends.

The next morning, Aether woke up with new enthusiasm. She talked to the little creatures and decided to continue searching for a way out of this world. They gave him some pointers about safe routes and things to look out for.

"Don't go north," said one of them seriously. "There is a big monster there who likes to catch children. He is very fast and cunning."

"And be careful of the traps in the west," added another. "There are many hidden holes and floors that could collapse at any time."

Aether took all their advice to heart and thanked him before continuing on his journey. She walked through the dark and narrow alleys, with every step filled with caution. Rustling sounds and strange sounds heard from a distance made him always alert.

When She passed a long corridor, Aether saw a large shadow moving quickly at the end of the corridor. Her heart skipped a beat, and She ran to find a place to hide. She found a gap in the wall and slipped in, hoping the shadow didn't see her.

From the gap, She peeked out and saw a large figure with long arms and thin fingers. The creature sniffed the air, looking for something. Aether felt his body tremble, but he tried to remain calm. She knew that if the creature found him, she might not survive.

The creature walked closer, and Aether held his breath. She felt her heart pounding in her chest. The creature stretched out its long, thin hand, almost touching where Aether was hiding. Aether felt cold sweat trickle down his forehead.

Suddenly, the creature stopped and heard a rustling sound at the other end of the corridor. He let out a low growl and started moving towards the sound. Aether felt relieved, but he knew that this was not the time to relax. He waited until the creature was completely gone before coming out of his hiding place.

"I should be more careful," Aether whispered to himself. "This world is full of terrible creatures." He continued his journey more alert. Every step was taken carefully, avoiding traps and observing every moving shadow.

He passed a large room filled with strange equipment and rusty tools. Aether approached one of the workbenches and saw something that caught his attention: a small gold key. He took the key and examined it carefully.

"Maybe this could reveal something important," he thought. "I have to look for him." With the key in his hand, he continued his search, hoping to find a door or clue that could lead him out of this world.

His journey took Aether to a dark and cold dungeon. He felt a chill run through his body, making him shiver. The room was filled with strange shadows moving on the walls. Aether felt frightened, but he knew that he had to keep going.

"It's like an endless nightmare," he muttered in a tired voice. "But I can't give up. I have to find a way out."

Aether made his way through the dungeon, passing narrow passages filled with traps and lurking dark creatures. Every step was taken carefully, trying not to attract attention. He felt as if time was moving slowly.
