When we left Bypass I was hammered and all I saw was my bed. Mike is a good driver, despite all the drinking and dancing, he was still okay enough to drive us safely back home. The evening I was turned out to be fine, full of laughter and good vibes. Jade and Rahim turned out to be more than just good company and they didn't make me feel left out.
I had made a huge decision and I was going to stand by it. Be a third wheel to the couple whenever and it suited me. Rahim was long forgotten now as I had merry with the two. I hadn't heard from him. I talked to Ben and Zakari and they informed me everything was finalized and Rahim was the sole owner of the buildings, I bet he was happy celebrating his victory.
Jade and Mike couldn't have come at the appropriate time, I needed them more than they needed me. For me to get out of the funk I was in, to keep me entertained, and at least have something to look forward to, every now and again.
