Sydney laughed and playful taunted him, "Oh wow, I never thought you would recognize that we have something important to do after that parade of yours. I thought probably you will be with the fiancée for a long while."
Jordan lowered his eyes to convey to her how irritated he was with her remarks. As he sat down and closed his fist, he said, "If you are not going to start, then I will do it without you any ways." He was holding his breath as he gradually exhaled.
Sydney gave him a dubious look as she lowered her head to grab her papers off the table but stopped short as she realized something.
'What?" Jordan inquired, feeling mindful as he noticed a frosty stare from her.
"Hello, are you listening to my words?" Jordan questioned her again since she remained mute and stared at him.
Sydney subconsciously fiddled with her nails, debating if she should tell him how she felt or just let it go.
