Chapter 14 - Fighting After School

Shintaro practiced some exercises after returning home and did not sleep until late at night.

The next day, he went to ninja school as usual.

There was nothing special about school life today. Perhaps the only thing worth mentioning was that Asuma had taken the initiative to request a change of seats, and the person now sitting in that seat was Anko.

After school, Kurenai invited him to go home together. Shintaro declined but asked her to go ahead, saying that he had some things to take care of.

Kurenai had no choice but to pull Anko away with her, feeling a bit displeased.

What Shintaro had to do, of course, was to settle the conflict with the Hyuga Clan member he had promised yesterday.

Tetsuo and his group had been waiting at the school gate.

They bowed to Shintaro and called him boss from a distance, attracting the attention of passersby.

Once the passersby saw the Uchiha Clan emblem on the backs of these students, they understood that they were young members of the Uchiha Clan, and their regard for Shintaro rose significantly.

He looked like an ordinary handsome guy, but being respectfully called "boss" by the Uchiha children, who did not look easy to mess with, clearly indicated he was not someone to be trifled with.

Just like that, Shintaro's reputation changed from the school's idol to the school bully.

"Boss, let's go to the fourth training ground and wait. Yesterday, the Hyuga group said they were interested in the surroundings there, so they will definitely go there today." Tetsuo said as he approached.

Shintaro nodded slightly and headed to the fourth training ground under the leadership of several people.

He was still unfamiliar with most places in Konoha. After all, he usually traveled between his home and the Ninja School, plus the Yuhi Family house, three points in a line.

He usually practiced in the open space next to his house and rarely went to the family training ground, let alone public training grounds.

Although training ground number 4 was also on the village's outskirts, it was closer than other training grounds.

A few people walked for ten minutes and reached the place.

The training ground was very spacious, and the spot where Tetsuo led Shintaro was in the corner, where many wooden stakes were planted in the ground.

The wooden stakes were hollow and full of scars. It was evident that they had been used to practice physical arts for many years.

Shintaro walked forward and observed the stakes carefully, finding that the most recent mark on the stakes was a shallow hole the size of a finger.

He naturally thought of the injuries to Tetsuo and the others yesterday, as well as the information Fugaku had given him.

"Gentle Fist." Shintaro identified the name of the attack method.

Tetsuo nodded repeatedly, "Yes, it's Gentle Fist."

At the mention of Gentle Fist, Hamasu beside him unconsciously covered the wounds on his body, as if they still hurt. It was unclear whether it was a psychological effect or because the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist was so effective.

Shintaro saw Hamasu's reaction and sighed, "It's called Gentle Fist, but its power is not gentle at all. It seems today will be interesting."

When Tetsuo heard this, he started feeling sad again and cried, "Yes, boss, the Hyuga gang is so cruel. They didn't spare us any face. If they don't spare us any face, doesn't that mean they don't spare the boss any face?"

Upon hearing this, Shintaro waved his hand and said, "No need to provoke me. Now that I'm here, I will definitely help you fight. You can be assured of this."

Seeing his intention too obvious, Tetsuo had to smile awkwardly and flatter him again, "Since the boss says so, we can be assured. The boss is mighty!"

Hamasu clenched his fist and said, "I'll beat you back today."

Tetsuo slapped Hamasu's head and said, "Forget it, don't go up and embarrass yourself."

Hamasu put his hands down sadly, but there was still reluctance in his eyes.

Shintaro looked at Tetsuo jokingly. Although this guy was cunning and versatile at a young age, he cared quite a bit for his younger brother.

Clearly, Tetsuo didn't want Hamasu to go up and get beaten again, but insensitive Hamasu didn't seem to understand his brother's good intentions.

It didn't take long for the awaited people to arrive.

A group of boys of different heights but all with pure white eyes approached.

"Doesn't the Uchiha Clan have a long memory? Or do you want to be beaten again? This is already Hyuga Clan territory; get out of here!"

A round-faced Hyuga boy shouted arrogantly, completely ignoring the newcomers.

But Tetsuo stood up, puffed out his chest, raised his head, and replied, "You're the ones who should leave. Today, with boss Shintaro here, you'll be beaten up!"

Tetsuo's words were strong and scared the round-faced boy for a moment.

This time, the tallest Hyuga boy spoke, "Is Uchiha Shintaro the one who defeated Hatake Kakashi?"

Hearing this, Tetsuo became more dominant and proudly said, "That's my boss."

He looked as if he himself was the one who defeated Kakashi.

The tall Hyuga boy said disdainfully, "Hatake Kakashi is just a first-year student; how strong can he be? I'm about to become a genin, why should I be afraid of you?"

After saying this, he looked at Shintaro provocatively. After all, Shintaro's white hair and blue eyes were so distinctive that he could be recognized at a glance.

Shintaro looked calmly at the boy in front of him, unmoved.

The tall Hyuga boy felt humiliated, so he said arrogantly, "I'll give you a chance. If you, Uchiha Shintaro, lower your head and surrender, and give us this place, I can let you go back safely. Otherwise, don't blame us for being rude."

Shintaro calmly said, "You're not worthy."

This sentence made Tetsuo and the others excited and also made the Hyuga boys' faces change drastically, as if they had just eaten dirt.

"Uchiha Shintaro, you're finished!"

The tall Hyuga boy couldn't accept that the boy in front of him, three years younger than himself, dared to act arrogant in front of him.

After saying this, he was ready to take action, and the others around him were also ready to move.

Tetsuo and the others were initially scared and lost their momentum.

The tall Hyuga boy started looking down on the Uchiha Clan in front of him and shouted, "Hyuga is the strongest clan in Konoha!"

After saying that, he rushed forward.

Shintaro felt bored seeing the unorganized movements, shook his head slightly, channeled his Cursed Energy throughout his body, jumped, and flew forward with a kick.

The tall Hyuga boy hurriedly raised his hands to block but was still thrown several meters away by the immense force, falling onto the grass in embarrassment.

"Makoto!"

The other Hyuga boys lost their leadership in an instant and gathered around Makoto.

The tall Hyuga boy named Hyuga Makoto only felt pain in his arm, but the greater pain was his pride.

Although the other party didn't slap his face, it was undoubtedly a very hard slap for Makoto, making him so embarrassed in front of so many younger brothers and the Uchiha Clan.
