Chapter 543 - Chapter 553: Space Station

Under Sun Jack's shocked gaze, a meteorite smashed into a spaceship. The Reinforced Alloy Plate, insulation tiles, and Magnetic Field Energy Shield—none of the spaceship's protective measures worked.

Sun Jack watched helplessly as one of his clones flew out from the broken section. The clone had just managed to grab an AA, but soon both were torn to shreds by the ruthless space debris outside.

With a "bang," accompanied by shattering glass, a strong suction force came, attempting to pull them into the perilous outer space.

"Fuck! Fuck fuck!" Xiao Ting frantically tugged at her seatbelt beside him, furiously cursing at Sun Jack, "Damn it, I knew it! Sooner or later, I'd get killed because of you!"

Sun Jack held onto her tightly, "Don't even think about going anywhere! Stay put!"

Under his control, the Sky-base Weapon began to charge rapidly, quickly smashing the approaching meteorites into pieces small enough for the Energy Shield to withstand.

"All crew, initiate emergency evasion procedure immediately. Activate all backup thrusters, full turn now!" The voice of AA echoed throughout the spaceship via the communicator, each word imbued with undeniable firmness.

Soon all the AAs started to exert force; the superior maneuverability of the spaceship, under their control, turned it into dancing on the edge of a knife, swiftly and precisely dodging the continuously falling meteorites.

"Boss! Don't worry! 'Leave everything to me,'" said the AAs simultaneously, at that moment numerous data cables inserted into their brains, fully integrating them with the combat unit.

Obviously, for today's mission, she had come prepared, fully ready.

Sun Jack watched the scene before him in amazement, realizing how much AA had grown without him noticing.

She was no longer the AA who wept over not finding a job, but rather a group of very reliable teammates.

Though the spaceship was still exploding, the frequency had clearly reduced under the operation of AA, and when it finally was down to seven ships, the noisy environment outside suddenly quieted.

A slight startle later, Sun Jack understood—they'd gotten through the layer of space debris!

"Spread out!" With a roar from Sun Jack, the remaining seven spaceships quickly dispersed.

The uncontrolled meteorites could only hit a specific area, finally, they escaped from the omnipresent threat of meteorites.

However, the crisis wasn't over yet. Sun Jack gritted his teeth, quickly unbuckled his safety belt, and with a push from his legs, he lunged towards the glass on the left side, hastily using the Nanoworms on his Battle Armor to plug the hole that was still sucking in air.

Once everything stabilized, he finally let out a long sigh of relief. Just entering space and being ambushed like this was somewhat unexpected for Sun Jack. "Is everyone okay? Report the current situation!"

In the midst of the reports, Sun Jack looked around the cabin. As they entered space, everything began to float, some scattered items slowly drifting in the air, appearing exceptionally messy.

"Damn, doesn't this crappy place even have a Gravity System?" Xiao Ting climbed down from her chair, her face full of dissatisfaction.

"Go check how the Clone production line is doing, see if it's damaged, and fucking hurry!"

After yelling, Sun Jack immediately began to sync up with the physical data of the others. Seeing that there were still 1502 Sun Jack clones left, he breathed a sigh of relief, "It's manageable, we still have the strength to fight."

Although they had just been attacked, there was no time to waste.

All the remaining combat units were fully armed, and all types of detection equipment were activated.

However, perhaps because the attack had already alerted the enemy, aside from that initial meteorite strike, there was a long period of eerie calm, with no other incidents occurring.

No one naively thought that everyone was now safe; the current silence was merely the calm before the storm, as they were about to confront the boss of FFP. Everyone was prepared to fight to the death.

Taking this moment of quiet, Sun Jack lit a cigarette and watched the "Moon Ring," formed from the moon's explosion years ago, through the glass. His heart settled down for a rare moment of peace.

The first time he looked at the Moon Ring with a calm mind, Sun Jack couldn't help but think how beautiful it was, almost like a nearby galaxy.

Yet, because of space debris and uncontrolled climatic conditions, the people on Earth had no time to enjoy this beauty, a true pity.

Sun Jack continued to smoke silently, reflecting on his birthplace, until he finished the last cigarette in his pack. By then, the spacecraft was very close to the Moon Ring.

Now up close, the beautiful Moon Ring in the distance inset with uneven moon stones and various space debris formed a white wasteland that stretched indefinitely. He even saw fragments of frozen and shattered human bodies in the wilderness.

Above this white wilderness, Sun Jack saw a gigantic space station comparable in scale to the Himalayas, seemingly a steel beast floating in the cosmic abyss, casting an inexplicable pressure as it perfectly blocked the Sun.

The space station's exterior featured a futuristic, streamlined design but was not smooth and flawless. Instead, it was covered with complex circuitry, overlaid with a visible pale blue energy shield that completely encapsulated the station.

As the spacecraft approached, Sun Jack held his breath and ventured into space to personally feel the intense oppressive force emanating from the station. This was not just a physical bulk but also the presence of Lan Meng, the survivor from the Old Era, the ruler of FFP, whose designs could be seen in almost every cityscape.

Lan Meng, the power holder of FFP, and the design originator for every city's internal and external architecture; after all this time playing cat and mouse, they were finally face to face again.

Faced with the arrival of Sun Jack and his team, there was no reaction from the other side. The massive space station simply floated there, quietly blinking its signal lights, without even triggering any video communication in Sun Jack's system.

Sun Jack didn't know what Lan Meng was up to, but he was not about to sit around and wait for death. "AA! Make a move."

"Okay!" As AA responded, a high-yield nuclear bomb was launched, flying towards the distant gigantic space station.

Watching the explosion radius displayed on the system, all spacecraft quickly retreated to avoid being affected by the blast.

Such a large yield would certainly devastate the space station if it really exploded.

However, just as the nuclear bomb was about to explode, accompanied by a certain vibration, the next second, both the nuclear bomb and Sun Jack's body in direct line were instantly shattered.
