"Gasp!"
As the woman was finally freed from the massive layers of rope that restrained her, Michael let out a grim smile, glancing at the corpse of Kaleb. "That guy is strong… who the hell is he?" he thought to himself. "Hello, kind sir!" a young woman right behind him exclaimed. Suddenly, Michael was invited into a massive hug by this unknown woman. "Thank you so much for saving me from that man!" she praised. "You are a very strong man!" Michael scratched his head in embarrassment. "Aw, it's no problem!" he blushed. As the crowd from the battle continued to clear up like an unclogged drain, the woman and Michael continued their conversation. "So, what brings you here to Ironhold?" she asked. As this question left her mouth, he had remembered DDLFO, the bounties, and the current state of Death Desert as they were currently speaking. "I'm just a tourist…" he muttered to the woman. "Anyway, my name is Trya Velasquez! Nice to meet you, Mr. Michael!" Michael grinned. "Hopefully that name doesn't sound familiar to her… she can't know about the members of Team ENTITY, right?"
Meanwhile back on the mountains of Umue, a determined Raja continued to scale the mountains at what seemed to be 500 miles per hour, creating massive dust clouds in his path for the soldiers. "IT'S ALMOST 12! WE MADE A DEAL, AND I'M NOT WAITING!" he exclaimed. As the soldiers struggled to keep up with their king, Raja could finally see the venue 100 feet before him. "IT'S 11:59:50! I GOTTA KEEP THIS UP!" Finally arriving at the final stretch to his voyage, he had 5 seconds left before noon.
Running up to the venue of the summit, he jumped inside the room, barely making it at noon sharp.
As he got in, he checked his clock once again. 11:59:59. "I DID IT!" Raja exclaimed. "NOW, TAKE ME TO THE LUXURY SUITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Team ENTITY, closing in on the Umue Mountains, finally reached the signs of the end of the Winding Forest, showing a minor mix of the snow and trees that set the border for the two lands. "We're almost to the mountains of Umue, everyone." Xavier celebrated. "Once we get there, which will be in a few minutes, we have to climb up to the World Summit. Although they may not let us in, three villages sit below the venue where the event is taking place. As we climb, we'll stay at the second village we see."
"Why not the third?" Gerald asked.
Xavier sighed. "Don't ask questions, just keep walking." Now that all of the leaders had arrived at the summit, Team ENTITY continued their uninvited and unexpected voyage, ready to ambush Aybara after their unexpected getaway back in Death Desert. As King Raja descended into the chair that was offered by one of his servants, he glared at Jayden in anger. "JAYDEN, I HAVE A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU!" he blurted out. "What is it this time? Are my agents still alive?" Raja sighed. "YOUR AGENTS AREN'T DOING ANYTHING BUT CAUSING CHAOS IN THE REGION! FIRST GERALD, SECOND SAM AND MICHAEL, AND LASTLY ALL OF THEM!" Jayden sighs. "If only I knew what the hell you m-"
"Is that a new newspaper? If yes, go to the front page." Flipping through the pages, Jayden lay in worry. "Did they get killed on their first journey back from Diamond City?" Looking at his hands, all the hearts had been covered back in. "It says that they're still alive, but I don't know if the hearts are accurate…" Suddenly, he froze.
WANTED
TEAM ENTITY
30,000,000
"YOUR ENTIRE BRANCH IS WANTED FOR 6 MILLION DOLLARS EACH! THEY CAUSED A SCENE BACK IN E-" In the middle of the lecture, two soldiers entered the venue, whispering in Raja's ear. "Did you hear about the new battle? Kaleb and Michael of Team Diamond went up against each other, and Aybara was nowhere to be found! We also found a descendant of the famous Valentino Velasquez!" Raja dropped his coffee. "The man with the highest bounty in the history of the region… had a descendant?" The soldier scoffs. "TWO, ACTUALLY! ONE IS NAMED TRYA VELASQUEZ, WHO IS A CURRENT CITIZEN OF IRONHOLD! SHE'S PARTICIPATING IN THE GREAT DUNE DASH IN A DAY! SECONDLY, XAVIER VELASQUEZ, ALSO KNOWN AS XAVIER OF THE PHANTOMS! HIS BOUNTY HAS JUST BEEN PRINTED!"
Showing him a picture that appeared out of the fax machine next to Raja left him speechless. Xavier, Protector of the Phantoms - 9 million dollars. "WHY ARE THEY OVERPRICING BOUNTIES? IS THE GOVERNMENT OKAY!?" King Raja exclaimed. If you were wondering, the bounty of Valentino Velasquez was extremely easy to remember, considering that it had been 30 years since his execution.
Valentino Velasquez, father of Xavier and Trya Velasquez. 20 million dollars. Meanwhile back in the city of Ironhold, Trya, amazed with Michael's power, giggled. "So, are you here to watch the Great Dune Dash? I'm racer 49!" Michael scoffed. "How do you know your race number…?" Trya laughed. "Here in Ironhold, the venue opens tonight at 7 PM for the Great Dune Dash. That means we have 7 hours left of completely nothing!" Michael chuckled. "Will I get my number if I attend the venue?" he asked politely. "There's going to be over 100 people racing fromIronhold back to the city of Embercliff, which is about 90 miles away. Battles and alliances are allowed in the race, but I recommend we start an alliance, because nobody will come near me!" Michael raised his eyebrow in question. "And why is that?" Trya smiled. "I'm the daughter of the person that had the highest bounty in the history of the Death Desert Criminal System. I also have a brother named Xavier, but I heard something about him killing someone who owned some phantoms at 15, 2 years after we split up. Ever since that day, Xavier gained a big name for himself, while I've just been lying low in Death Desert. Michael scoffed. "Xavier's your brother? I just met him not so long ago back at Embercliff…" Trya screamed. "YOU SAW XAVIER? TELL ME, IS HE OKAY? WE HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER SINCE WE WERE TEENAGE-" Michael cuts her off. "I only saw him for 20 minutes. Also, he's at the World Summit with my other friends." Trya froze. "The World… Summit? Is he declaring war against the 4 governments like Aybara is…?" Michael frowned. "Although I can't expose his role in the World Summit, I can tell you he's there for a good cause. You'll see sooner than later…" he said, bringing the conversation to an abrupt end. Trya gasped. "Xavier… Please be safe out there. If I win 10,000 dollars, I'll be sure to reunite with you soon…"
