Kevin, finally holding the rock that ended his 15 minute long hike up the mountain, gasped for air. "We made it!" he exclaimed, celebrating with glee. Gerald, catching up with the energetic Kevin, let out a sigh of relief. "What are we going to do now? We've made it to the village, but we still have 8 hours until the World Summit begins…" Xavier and Samantha, who was holding Spooky, followed. Spooky, dressed in a miniature jacket made of fur, meowed cutely in Samantha's arms. "I knitted this while we were going up the mountain!" she sputtered, shivering from the cold. Xavier smoked his 7th cigarette in the past hour. "You made a costume for your cat, but you didn't bother to make anything for yourself… Anyway, I know somebody that'll have us in their residence until it's time for us to head off to the World Summit. We also need some rest after the hike…" Gerald sighed. "I see the venue all the way from down here!" he told Kevin. As the two continued their conversation, Xavier emerged from the endless snow the mountains held. "Come on, everyone. We're going to the village to prepare." he said, leading the way to a small and lively village.
The mountains of Umue were made up of three mountains which were all combined for an unknown reason. First, we have Lower Hill, which sits the most dangerous and active village of Yahori. This village has uncovered multiple secrets about their surroundings, manipulating it in their favor to tell to the neighboring villages. Secondly, we have the village of Hauna, which had the same leverage as the other village, Uka. These villages are home to the powerhouses of broadcasting that would be used to bring the World Summit to not just the mountains, but all over the world, even overseas to Trila. As the mountain dwellers continued living their lives, one secret sat unanswered inside the mountain - did Aybara have another base inside the mountain that they used as a secret entrance or exit, or was it just a hunk of baloney released by Yahori once again? As the team finally arrived at the village, Xavier knocked on the door to a colorful, giant house that sat before the team. "Why are all the other houses small, but this one is big?" Xavier laughed. "You'll be seeing soon." As a young woman in her mid twenties opened the door, she smiled. "Father, they have arrived!" she exclaimed deeper into the warm, welcoming house. Thirty seconds later, a man walked up to the door, wearing a dark blue hat that covered his eyes and hair, also wielding a hook on his right hand. As Team ENTITY, including Kaelan and Rian, glared at the fearful man, their feelings on him would be changed as he welcomed all of the visitors in with a warm welcome. "That is NOT what I was expecting." Samantha whispered to Kevin and Gerald.
They both agreed.
As everyone was invited to sit down in an empty hallway, a vacant radio with no signal sat on the table. As the team continued through the hallway with the man, a perplexed Kaelan and Rian tampered with the radio, a sudden signal was picked up.
"I-I-I-I-I-WOR-D-SM-IT"
Suddenly, Xavier rushed over to the radio. "That sounds like someone I know!" he exclaimed. "Let me see the radio, I'll try to make a stable connection." Positioning the antennas perfectly, Xavier had finally found out who it was.
Aybara was plotting their plans over the radio.
"D-Did we do something good?" Rian asked, twiddling his thumbs. Xavier grinned. "YES, YOU DID DO SOMETHING GOOD! WAIT HERE, I'M GOING TO GO GET EVERYONE!" he said, rushing away further into the house. Now that the messages of Aybara were being intercepted, intel could finally be gained.
BLACK CLAN -> TEAM ENTITY (INTERCEPTED) -> FAIMASA CLAN
As the waterfall inside the secret base below the mountain continued to fall, Yupi, Ikama, Lola, Yamaha, and Ramari continued to travel through the base that sat below. "We have to get up to the summit before 8 PM tonight." Ikama informed his subordinates. "Then, we can continue the plan with the ambush!" he said through the radio. The Faimasa clan, already on an elevator to the top of the mountain, laughed. "We'll be waiting for you at the top. It's a 5 hour ascend, so be sure to get water! Remember, we have to kill everyone there!" Ikama laughs. "If only that pesky Hakim were alive…" he said, holding the crank to the elevator that sat below him. "We're on our way up. This will be Aybara's final mission, and we will do anything to complete it!" The Black Clan agreed with their captain before ordering the metal elevator to ascend into the air. After about 10 minutes of utter silence inside the base, the metal door bordering the outside world and Aybara's secret base was broken down by a tremendous force of power.
As the dust settled, Hana, Yuba, and Yara walked into the base. "This will be the battlefield me and Hakim will cross swords on. When he arrives, I want you to lure him here nice and slowly. If you fail, I'LL KILL YOU!" she exclaimed angrily.
"Y-Yes, ma'am!" both of the men exclaimed before hurrying out the busted door. Meanwhile back with Team ENTITY, Kevin and the rest of the gang had heard everything - Aybara was heading up in a hidden elevator. "Where do we find them?" Xavier asked Kaelan and Rian. Kaelan sighed. "The Faimasa Clan said they would be inside the venue by 8 PM… and that's when we get to see Zara!" he said. "Anyhoo, they are heading up the mountain as we speak. In other words, we could take down their elevators and save time for the world leaders." Rian and Kaelan high fived. "I like your thinking, bro!" he complimented. Xavier sighed. "Gerald and Samantha, you guys go find the elevator system and terminate it completely. I would send Kevin with you, but he still needs to undergo intense rest." Gerald smiled. "Finally, a task that we actually can do flawlessly!" Samantha smirked. "Don't get your hopes up, Gerald. Our bounty may be overpriced as hell, but that doesn't mean we're stronger than the most feared terrorist group in all of Death Desert…"
