As Samantha and Michael continued their journey into the pyramid, they had survived a total of 169 net traps, 583 tile traps, 49 boulders, and a whopping 1,048 bow and arrow attacks! Tiring, isn't it?
As Samantha and Michael got deeper into the pyramid, the texture kept growing more ominous and scary. "Have we made it to the end?" Samantha asked, her hair all messed up from the 1,489 attacks they just endured. As Michael looks back at him, he pulls sunglasses out of his pocket, putting them on. "You're a government official now, Samantha. I've gone through multiple traps in my life, and you're whining? You're older than me!" he says, laughing. As Samantha punches him on the head, he begins to shed tears. "I'm sorry, maam…" he stutters in fear. As Michael got back into shape, he noticed the next stage of the pyramid. "What the fuck is this…?" he said, dropping his sunglasses.
The end of the pyramid was nearing as a pool of lava supported by 4 waterfalls stood. As Michael and Samantha walked in, they noticed the collapsed pillars that they could use to jump from the starting point to the end.
Samantha, holding Spooky in her hands, looked around the room. "Is this some sort of riddle…?" she asked Michael. Michael, who had a lot of experience from things like this, smirked. "Follow me, Samantha." he said, walking towards the room. As soon as they both took a step in the room, the door slid closed in a flash. "WE'RE GONNA DIE! WE'RE GONNA FUCKING DIE!" Samantha exclaimed as she saw the closed door. Michael, desperate for Samantha to shut up, began to jump on the platforms that stood above the lava. Suddenly, tiny holes opened from the roof, growing tremendous amounts of spikes out of them. As Samantha went even more insane, Michael scoffed. "How the hell did they build this 3,000 years ago!?" he exclaimed. Suddenly, the spikes started pouring down to the ground at a rapid rate. Samantha, who was shaken up already, zipped across the platforms, making a path for Michael. As Michael calculated how long it would take for the spikes to finally arrive at the ground killing them, he inferred that it would be humanly impossible for them to get to the end of the pyramid in that amount of time. As a result, Michael jumped down to the lava, ready to die. (or was he?)
As Michael continued his daring pursuit on Samantha, he pulled out a grapple hook, connecting himself to one of the many pillars. "Samantha, we won't make it if we keep this up!" he screamed. As the spikes continued to lower at rapid speeds, she continued her dash across the floors of lava. Suddenly, the line was running out for Michael. As a result of this, he jumped.
Just jumped in general; nothing special.
As Samantha looked back, she knew what she had to do. As a result, she unlocked her wind ability, dashing down to Michael at rapid speed. As she grew ice out of her hand, attempting to make a net for him, it kept melting due to the lava that would draw their doom. "Shit! Why can't I do this!?" Suddenly, Michael smirked. "Thanks for following my plan, Samantha." As Michael grabbed Samantha, he grappled to the end of the room, tempted to escape. "THAT WAS YOUR PLAN!?" Samantha roared. Michael laughed. "A government official also has many tricks up their sleeve. Don't worry, I'll teach you our ways soon." As the room continues to collapse, Samantha and Michael finally escape death - they had gotten to the 3,000 year prison cell of DDLFO.
Meanwhile, a dehydrated and hallucinating Gerald crossed the paths of the everlasting region of Aridronia, being one of the many regions of Death Desert. As Gerald continues on his path, he senses a strange yet powerful force lurking around him. "What the hell is that?" he thought to himself, scanning the area for any entities. Suddenly, the ground below him cracked as the sand began to fly all over, making a tornado next to Gerald. Suddenly, the whole platform erupted from an explosion, launching Gerald to the next hill full of sand. As the menacing entity roared through the skies, a giant cloud proceeded to invade the battlefield. "Damn, looks like I ran into you early." Gerald said, scoffing. "Now it's time for you to die early!" As Gerald charged up to his opponent while biting his finger, he transformed into his Fire Hurricane form, combining wind and his blue fire to create different attacks. "FIRE… HURRICANE!" Gerald exclaimed, charging at DDLFO. Who would stand victorious from this unexpected battle?
