Chereads / Angel Has Fallen Down (Haru) / Chapter 6 - 6. Truth

Chapter 6 - 6. Truth

When their lips touched, Alice pushed Luke away, her eyes wide with disbelief as she looked at him. "What are you doing in Heaven?" she asked, rubbing her lips.

Luke smiled at her words. "My Alice."

Upon hearing Luke address her that way, she narrowed her eyes. "Why do you call me that?" she asked again.

Luke smiled. "Because you're mine," he replied, smiling.

Alice furrowed her brow at his words. "Who belongs to whom?" she asked, puzzled.

Luke pointed at her. "You," he said, then pointed at himself. "Mine," he said, smiling.

Alice stared at Luke with a strange look. "Why do I belong to you?"

Luke sighed, reaching for her hand and kissing it. "My love, you're my heart, destiny says so," he said, smiling at her again.

Alice frowned. "Destiny? You're the demon king, and I'm the holy angel. You die, and I'm free. That's destiny," she said, her wings suddenly growing after she spoke, tying up her hair, her eyes full of hatred as she looked at Luke before her.

Luke sighed and smiled again when he heard her. "Oh, you're such a stubborn girl," he shook his head slowly as he said it.

Alice smirked. "I'm known as an ambitious angel," she said, and as she did, her clothes suddenly changed into her battle armor. "Finally, I can use my favorite armor again," she smiled as she said it, and suddenly there was an explosion.

As the room exploded, Luke sighed. He now floated in the air, still staring at the exploded room. "This will be very difficult," he murmured as he saw Alice with her sword in her right hand.

With her sword in hand, she pointed it at Luke. "Die," she said coldly.

Luke raised both hands in the air, looking at Alice flatly. "Let me say this, Lucifer is free now, and I came here to stop him from destroying Heavania," he explained.

Alice looked at him coldly, then grinned. "Lucifer can wait. With the demon king in front of me, how can I ignore you?" she said as she began to attack him with her sword.

With a quick movement, Luke managed to dodge the attack. "Why do you want to kill me so badly?" he asked, furrowing his brow.

Alice paused for a moment. "Isn't it obvious? Don't act like you don't know my dreams," she said, smiling, and began attacking him again relentlessly.

Suddenly, a loud explosion could be heard. It wasn't from Alice's attack, and even Alice stopped after hearing the explosion. "He's here," Luke muttered as he looked at the darkening sky.

Alice gritted her teeth when she looked at the sky. This wasn't good. Two powerful demons were here at the same time. "How could you!" she exclaimed angrily at Luke.

Luke furrowed his brow. "I told you before, don't say I didn't warn you," he replied, annoyed.

When Luke saw Alice off guard, he suddenly grabbed her hand.

"What!?" Alice shouted as she was surprised.

Luke smiled at her. "Sweet dreams," he said as Alice suddenly began to fall asleep. He grabbed her body and hugged her tightly. "Sweet dreams," he whispered as he looked at Alice's sleeping face, then he looked at the darkening sky, sighed as the sky grew darker, looked around, and suddenly disappeared from view.

The Gates of Heaven, Hanseasena Entrance

Thousands of warrior angels lined up in front of the gate, ready to welcome Lucifer with all sorts of weapons in their hands. Lucifer grinned as he saw them. Suddenly, the gates of Heaven exploded. The explosion not only destroyed the gate but also caused hundreds or more angels to fall due to the massive explosion. "No one can stop me," he whispered slowly as he walked away through the fallen angels.

"What a disaster," a voice suddenly stopped Lucifer. He looked at the damaged gate and found God standing there with a golden staff in her right hand.

Lucifer grinned as he saw her. "Who's this? Aren't you Georgia, God?"

God remained silent as she heard Lucifer speak.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten about me?" Lucifer pouted as he made an assumption.

God sighed. "Who could forget a creature as insufferable as you? Lucifer," she replied, looking at him coldly.

Lucifer grinned as he heard her. "It's an honor indeed. God actually remembers me. Hasn't it been a long time since we talked like this?"

God smiled as Lucifer answered with a grin on his face. She pointed her staff at him. "We might not talk like this again in the future."

Lucifer grinned. "Why is that?"

"Because you'll die now," thunder suddenly struck as she said it, making Lucifer smile even more.

"It's a coincidence, it's been a long time since we last fought," another explosion suddenly happened as he said it. He lightly punched his hand as he smiled.

Koorselian, Human World

As Alice opened her eyes, her body felt weak. "Where is this?" she murmured as she looked around.

"Are you awake?" Luke's sudden voice woke her up, she remembered now!

With her last strength, she grabbed Luke's collar. "YOU!" she screamed as her eyes looked full of hatred.

Luke shook his head lightly, easily freeing himself from Alice's grip. "You have no power, do you?" he asked, smiling at her.

Alice furrowed her brow at him. "What have you done to me?" she asked, gritting her teeth.

Luke grinned. "Just to be cautious, if you try to kill me again, I'll seal your powers," he replied as if it was nothing.

Alice widened her eyes when she heard him. "YOU WHAT!?" she shouted while grabbing Luke's collar again, tighter than before.

Luke grabbed her hand. "Calm down."

"HOW COULD YOU!?" She shouted again as her hand pulled Luke's collar even harder than before.

"You're feeling tired, aren't you?" Luke said as he freed himself again, "I've sealed your powers and presence, right now you're just a normal human, even God won't notice your presence," he explained as he stepped back from Alice to be cautious if she would pull his collar again.

Alice was silent when she heard him. "What..."

"Isn't this your dream? to be a normal human?" he said, smiling at her.

Alice furrowed her brow when she heard him. "What do you want from me?" she asked, confused.

Luke smiled. "Nothing, because I love you," he replied.

Alice narrowed her eyes. "Nonsense," she cursed.

"Your language, dear," Luke smiled as he warned her, "truly, I want nothing from you except your heart."

Alice glared when she heard him. "Just say your reason."

Luke sighed. "Fine, it seems you won't believe anything I say unless it's bad," Luke paused for a moment then suddenly smiled, "Do you want to destroy this world with me?" he bluntly said it with a smile on his face.

Upon hearing his reason, her eyes widened. "What did you say?"

"Destroy the world," he repeated, "with your power, we can do it."

Alice sighed, as expected from the demon king, nothing good ever came out of his mouth. "No," she rejected. "Don't forget I'm an angel. Why would an angel like me want to destroy the world?"

"Then I won't return your powers," he threatened with a cold tone.

Alice smiled when she heard him. "Good, then. It's my dream to be powerless," she replied as if it were nothing.

Luke grinned when he heard her. "Yes, powerless, but you'll bring misfortune to anyone who comes near you forever! Even a baby could die just by being near you." Luke crossed his arms, looking at Alice with an intimidating gaze.

Her eyes widened after hearing that. She glared at him as if he were the lowest creature she'd ever met. "Damn you," she cursed as if it were nothing.

Luke grinned. "Your language," it was his victory again.

Heavania

Both God and Lucifer looked exhausted from their battle. Lucifer grinned as he saw how weary God had become. "I didn't expect you to still be as strong as before."

God grinned when she heard him. "My duty is to protect my people. How could I not be strong?" she replied as she tried to stand with her wooden staff.

Suddenly, Mary appeared before God. She bowed her head to her. "Let me take over, my lord," she said, glancing at Lucifer.

God sighed. "There's no need."

Mary lifted her head. "Let me help you," she offered.

Suddenly, as she stood, God felt something wrong. She turned with wide eyes. "No, you must find Alice."

Mary furrowed her brow. "What?"

God grabbed Mary's shoulder. "She's gone!" she shouted in panic. "The Holy Angel is gone! I can't feel her presence at all, neither here nor in the world!" her eyes widened as she said it.

Mary looked confused as God appeared panicked. "What do you mean?" she asked, now utterly baffled.

"GO! I ORDER YOU TO FIND ALICE!!" God commanded Mary loudly.

With eyes full of confusion, Mary bowed her head to God. "Your command is my honor, my lord," she said before disappearing.

When Mary disappeared, God once again lost her strength. She fell to the ground. "Where is my holy angel?" she murmured with wide-open eyes. Suddenly her gaze moved to Lucifer before her. "WHERE HAVE YOU HIDDEN HER?!" she screamed as she pointed her staff at Lucifer.

"Why do you blame me? I did nothing," Lucifer raised both hands as he said it.

"Liar," God looked at him with angry eyes. "Devil!" she cursed.

Lucifer fell silent when he heard God curse him. "You haven't changed at all," Lucifer sighed. "I guess the holy angel is her descendant, right?"

When she heard that, God glared angrily at Lucifer.

Seeing her glare, he sighed again. "I'll end this today. I'm not interested in fighting a weak God," he said as he suddenly disappeared into the air.

God sighed as she saw Lucifer disappear into the air. "My angel, my holy angel, where are you?" she murmured as she began to lose consciousness...
