Chapter 9 - I miss you

Lia walked down gracefully from the stairs, her heels clicking on the surface.

The Mansion was big and spacious, the dinning table which situated by the back of the stairs could accommodate up to ten persons. The chairs was made with fine leathers.

"Lia" A mainly voice called out to her, echoing in the silent Mansion. Her eyes shot up, setting on the main door.

Dad

Her lips moved, slowly turning into a smile. Two Male servants entered, following her dad, carrying a painting on their hand, which was covered using a thin purple cloth.

The man walked up to her "so well?" He tilted his gaze to her. Her two hands clutched her phone tightly. She pulled him into s tight hug, holding up her scream.

"I miss you so much" She said, still hugging him. She pulled away from the hug, "Do you know mom bullied me?" Lia whined cleaning her fake tears from her eyes.

The servants gently placed the painting down, bowed gently before going back to their unattended work.

"She did!?" He dad asked confusingly, his mouth open agape.

He knew where this conversation was leading to.

"Yes" Lia huffed angrily.

"Where's she?" He asked looking around.

"She..she went to work, a shoot for a brand" Her mood turn solemnly.

A beep sound vibrated from her phone. She looked into it.

"Let's meet at de la café" It reads.

It was a message from Rose through WhatsApp.

"Okay, I'll talk to her when you get back" Dane said, glancing at her. It must be her friends, he thought.

"Okay, bye" she quickly hugged him, running at a low space, so that she wouldn't fall.

"Oh, this girl" Her dad shook his head, looking at her fading silhouette.

"Well, let me go inside" He turned, heading upstairs.

At the café, the three best friends were engrossed with what they where doing. Outside the café, the word"De La Café" was engraved in italics and written body on the wall of the building. Next to the building, a woman stood selling flowers. A table stand placed in front of her, three flower vase was on top of the table. The floor tidy, no sign of dirt could be sighted.

"Hmm, it's smell nice" Lia said, inhaling her coffee.

Anna looked up from her phone, giving her a soft smile.

"Who's Axel?" Rose suddenly asked, showing Lia and Anna a blurred picture of the person.

Lia shifted her gaze, collecting the phone from her "Don't know, haven't seen him before" Lia shrugged her shoulder, sipping her coffee.

"He looks familiar" Anna whispered softly.

"Whose Instagram is that" Anna asked, trying to think where she had seen him

"Eleanor's friend... what's that her annoying name again, Rina!" Rose replied, rolling of her eyes.

"Oh, that two faced girl" Lia hissed angrily.

Anna immediately entered her Instagram account. She typed the word 'Rina', nothing related to person she searched for showed, only those for other account and profiles did.

She typed 'Elenora' and it showed her many people's accounts, The top account caught her attention immediately. It had a blue tick with the name she was looking for.

She tapped on it, it had approximately 4.5 Million followers, 20 post and 33 following. In the profile photo, a girl stood, wearing a knee length flora dress. The camera was directly aiming at her left line of sight.

She stood outside a house made of bamboo sticks, Her black hair was packed in a high bun, leaving a few strands of her hair down, almost covering her eyes. Her left hand covered her forehead looking ahead. A big smile plastered on her face.

Anna tapped her following list, scrolling to see the large amount of people she followed.

Unknowingly a tear slipped down her eyes. A hand brought her face up, "Hey, we were calling you just now and why are you crying" Lia said.

Anna touched her face gently. She didn't know why she cried but she felt a little sad.

Rose snuck, glancing at the phone a little "Is this what is making you to cry?"

"It hurts" She mumbled.

(Flashbacks)

"We're going on a family vacation!" Eleanor said excitedly. She had already packed up the stuff she needed.

"Really" Jason asked, entering into the Mansion.

"Yes, Mom and Dad already booked the tickets. We'll be leaving for Maldives tomorrow."

"That's great" Jason said, leaving for his room.

"Wait, wait, Jay...um aren't we..should I invite Anna?" Eleanor asked.

His expression turned dark. He didn't want to see her either nor hear her voice.

"No, it's a family vacation.. remember" Jason said, flicking her forehead a little.

"Ouch, it hurts..But she always invite us to her house for any celebration. Wouldn't It be a bit unfair?" She asked as a matter of fact.

All her birthday party they were invited, business event and more.

"Fine, she can come but am not going" He gritted his teeth, before walking off.

Unknown to them, Anna stood by the pillar close to the stairs. Hot tears poured out of her eyes as she ran out of the Mansion in the cold rainy weather.

(Present)

"Don't worry everything will be alright?" Lia and Rose said, rubbing her back gently.

"A Roy never cries" Rose said, reminding her.

Anna burst out laughing"yeah, a Roy never cries" she said in between her laugh.

"Is our bet still on?" Lia asked.

Maybe it is her time to shine. She couldn't let this feeling get into her. She needed to tell the world that she can do it. That....a Roy never fails, never give up and never cries. She didn't know what came into her at that moment.

"Yes, it is" She agreed giving in her consent.

They talked and talked till they were exhausted.

They got into their cars sent to pick them. They waved at each other like they weren't going to see each other tomorrow.

"Bye Rosy" Lia and Anna said at the same time.

"Bye Lily" Anna and Rose waved at her entering into their cars. They sat at the back seat like they planned it.

They rolled the window down "Bye Anie" Rose and Lia waved at her saying.

"Bye" They all said at the same time before the drivers turned to a different route, zooming off.
