The undead wanted to bite Loki in the neck, but it wasn't strong enough to force its way. While he stopped the corpse from biting him, he ordered his clone to hug the ghoul's legs and explode itself. And that was what his other self did; it embraced the undead's two feet and created a green explosion.
Due to his close proximity, he felt some of the impact beneath him, making his feet fly upward. Upon falling on his face, his shoulder was still being held by the right arm of the ghoul. Loki didn't let the commotion distract him. With quick thinking, he utilized his dagger and severed the arm that was firmly holding his shoulder.
After doing so, he wanted to stand up and end the fight, but as he did, the sharp pain in his feet made him fall to his knees. It appeared the explosion might have broken some bones. Realizing this, he created another clone and commanded it to stab the undead multiple times.
