Liam went back to class after ending the call.
As soon as he sat down in his place Rayan asked, "Who was that?"
"It was Lea, her brother met with an accident it seems so she rushed back home" Liam replied with a look that said a large weight was lifted off his shoulders.
"Ho, is he fine or does she need any kind of help?" Rayan asked.
"No, she said that he is yet to gain consciousness," Liam said.
"When is she coming back?" Ria who was sitting in the front with Sharen and listening to their conversation asked.
"Don't know yet" Liam said.
With that, they all focused on the professor's lecture.

A week passed by swiftly.
Erick regained consciousness the evening after the incident, but he could only speak properly the following day.
Daniel and Elena, upon gathering the necessary information, discovered the small group responsible for the attack on Erick. However, during interrogation, they learned that the attackers were hired by someone whose identity remained unknown.
"Don't worry, Elle. I'll inform you as soon as I learn anything related to this," Daniel assured her.
"Promise?" Elena asked a hint of doubt in her voice.
"Promise," Daniel affirmed as Elena prepared to return to the human world.
"Be careful, dear. Your powers are bound for now, so be cautious until they stabilize and you can use them," her father advised.
"Yes, Dad. Don't worry. No one out there knows about me, and everyone around me are humans. What is there to fear? Besides, you've stationed Will to guard me from a distance. Why are you worried?" Elena reassured him.
"I worry because I'm your father, and I'll always worry for you," Henry replied, his expression tender.
"What about me, Dad? Do you love me as much as you love Elle?" Eric interjected from the side.
"Get lost! How dare you compare yourself to my sweet daughter?" Henry retorted, his tone fierce.
"You can't even take care of yourself, worrying all of us like this, and you want to compare yourself to my sweet daughter?" Henry added with exasperation.
Eric, feigning injury, dramatically clutched his chest. "Look at him, sis. He's so heartless. Finish your work quickly and come back. You're my sole hope in this house," he declared.
Elena rubbed her temples, observing her brother's theatrics. After a moment, she bid farewell and left home.
