Eventually, the group began to train. First, Zion took some time to get used to using his weapons, slashing and dashing around a dummy as he adjusted. By doing this, he became more used to his human form and steadier as he moved.
Once he was comfortable, they began to train together. They would attack Zion while he defended, but soon, he would start overpowering them, moving too quickly for Ithil to hit with spells.
Aalas's arrows got blocked or sliced by his blades, while Jacob couldn't get close enough to catch him with the shield.
Sarah could get close enough to trade some blows, and at first, he had trouble with her, but when he had gotten used to the weapons, he began to suppress Sarah.
Sarah slashed her sword at Zion, who jumped above her, then swished his tail down and hit her on the back.
She let out a small yelp as even with his tail being soft, being whacked by it at a fast speed hurt.
