After composing himself, Victor went to his bed and bent down to pull out a large box from underneath it. He placed him on the bed and opened it to reveal a significant amount of books and some herbs. But what really caught his attention were four radiant objects with extremely strange shapes. Victor looked at them intently, thinking about his previous mistakes.
"I was stupid in my beginnings," he thought. "I didn't have the knowledge to take advantage of opportunities nor was I willing to take risks. These treasures are one of my big mistakes. I sold them cheaply for resources, though I eventually regretted it when I discovered what I had."
Among these four cursed treasures, there were three treasures: "Mouth of Hermes," "Dagger of Varys," and "Eyes of Paradox." They are all classified treasures that can be developed. He even heard that someone had upgraded Varys's dagger to legendary rank.
Victor took three cursed treasures from the box and lowered it to the ground. He sat on the bed, admiring one of the treasures, which was shaped like a woman's red mouth. He took out Varys' dagger and cut his finger without any change in his expression. He fed his finger to the mouth, which began to happily devour it.
Victor repeated this process with all the fingers of his left hand until the mouth became agitated. Then Victor placed the mouth on what was left of his hand, and the mouth began to devour it greedily until he had eaten it all. The mouth burped, and then Victor swallowed directly. Five minutes later, his hand began to regenerate until it was completely back to how it was.
"This is easier than I thought," Victor said. "I thought there would be complicated rituals for possession." Victor looked at his left hand, seeing a mouth in his palm. He placed the dagger in front of the mouth, and the mouth swallowed it.
Victor closed his eyes, finding the dagger floating in the void within his consciousness. "Haha, finally a cursed vacuum tool that works for someone of my status, and is also scalable."
Then, Victor turned his brown eyes to the dagger and sighed. In order to complete the ritual of possession of Varys's dagger, he had to nourish it with blood for years. Although this was easy, it was time consuming.
Victor turned his gaze to Paradox's eyes and looked at them carefully. "If I don't get the ritual right, I'll lose my sight, which will hinder me for a long time in my plans to monopolize the city's opportunities. Well, that doesn't matter. If I want to monopolize, I'll have to take the risk."
Victor got out of bed and went to the elixir room. He picked up a huge pot and put it on a hot fire. He placed several ingredients while muttering:
"Purity Water, Life Vine, Dragon Grass, Phoenix Tear, Shadow Salamander Eye, Void Goat Milk."
After that, Victor made red eyes and muttered, "Paradox Eyes."
The solution inside the pot ignited and turned into a purple liquid. Victor looked at the sweet and said, "Last ingredient."
Victor put his fingers into his eye and gouged it out.
He did the same with the other, and threw them into the pot. After half an hour, the fluid collected and squeaked until the squeaking stopped. Victor put his hand inside the pot, only to discover that there were two eyes inside it. Victor squinted his eyes and felt a sharp pain throughout his head.
Afterwards, Victor thought, "I think because I went through the exaggerated pain of regression, I no longer value that kind of pain." Until he opened his eyes, they were purple in colour.
Victor took out the dagger and threw it at the corner of the room in a certain way. The dagger bounced back and headed towards Victor and stabbed him in the head. Immediately afterwards, Victor was standing holding the dagger. Victor looked at the dagger, touched his eyes, and laughed.
The Eye of Paradox magically takes in external data and information and shows the owner the life-threatening forecast most likely to occur.
After that, Victor looked at the last treasure, which was a scroll written in complex golden symbols. Victor said, "Your turn, not now."
