Chapter 16 - 16) Aftermath

Since I could die at any moment I didn't hesitate to call Eclipse. " Come out and kill the demon Eclipse ". Before I went to teleport to the Tiger City we discussed that whenever I call Eclipse she won't use Dragon's roar and will only appear in human form. At least I can fool some people that I can't summon dragons with this method. However, if anyone has an analysis skill then they would easily figure out Eclipse is a dragon.

Eclipse came out in human form and said: " Is he the one I need to take care of? How pathetic, to think a human sold his life to a demon just for some small boost in power ". The Demon got mad and said, " I don't know where you came from but you will pay for mocking me now die ". The demon tried to step on Eclipse and squash her. Eclipse caught the demon's leg in one hand and asked " Is that all? Or do you have anything else to show me ".

The demon was shocked at her power and retreated " Don't get cocky just because you blocked by my attack now take this and die". He said that and black particles appeared around his mouth. Minerva said with a breaking voice " His evil energy, All of it is converging into his mouth. If that attack hits it could easily put a hole in the city wall".

Eclipse just stood there in front of it. She even mocked the Demon by putting both hands behind her. The demon got angry and used the skill Demonic cannon firing all the converged demonic power in the form of a beam. Eclipse used her dragon breath which pierced through the demon's beam and destroyed his face.

The demon's corpse vanished into dust slowly spreading demonic particles in the air. Everyone except me was shocked at Eclipse's power. To divert their attention I asked Minerva to purify all the demonic particles present around her.

She was still affected by the fear status effect. The berserker gave Minerva a Remove Debuff potion from his inventory. She thanked me and went to purify the demonic particles after drinking a remove debuff potion.

The other bodyguard mage said, " Minerva we can clean the demonic particles later come help Mr jack he is still breathing but is heavily wounded ". It seems the old man's name is Jack. Minerva looked at him and said, " My healing power is not enough to heal him if we can make it back to our city in time maybe the Pope can heal him. But I can't think of any way to make it back in time". Everyone looked away thinking it was over for Mr Jack.

Eclipse talked to me in telepathy " You can help them can't you ". I copied her telepathy and replied, " I will deal with this myself now tell me what do you want in return for helping me". Eclipse replied " I had my doubts but after seeing your abilities up close I plan on saving my wish. The wish I want to ask you is nowhere near the amount of help I provided you. I will form another contract with you. The help I provided will be rated from 1 to 10 depending on what you ask me. After the Debt points reach a certain number I will request a big wish from you instead".

I don't know what she will ask but this might be better since I don't plan on using her power too much so I formed the contract.

Everyone else was still crying for Mr Jack But their expressions changed when I spoke. I said, " I have the mass teleportation skill so I can take you guys back to the Goblin City in a minute ". After hearing this Minerva jumped in joy and I ordered her to purify the demonic particles before the Mass teleportation was set up. She nodded her head and we teleported back to the teleporter in the Goblin City only to find that we were completely surrounded by guards.
