In an early morning light that filtered through her curtains, a young girl woke up. Her room, as opulent as it was, felt stiflingly familiar—a gilded cage befitting of the rarest and most precious of gems. After her brisk shower, she wore her pristine school uniform and descended to the dining room.
"Good morning young miss." greeted one of the household servants.
"Yes. Good morning." replied the young girl with a polite nod, her tone betraying hints of detachment.
As she entered the dining room, "Oh. Good morning Aria." Tall and imposing in his tailored suit, Brayden Whitmore, the Chief Executing Officer of Whitmore Corporation, a big company operating in England, offered a cordial smile.
"Good morning father, mother." Responded Aria Whitmore, the young miss of the Whitmore family with a serene yet distant expression.
"And a good morning to you too." Said Ava Whitmore, the Owner of the Lily Fashion Company, one of the most prominent companies in the fashion with over 100 stores worldwide, chimed in, her demeanor elegant yet preoccupied with thoughts likely concerning the global empire of fashion they presided over.
"Just like always, this house is suffocating." Aria mused silently as she sat down on the chair.
As they enjoyed their breakfast, they exchanged pleasantries over breakfast.
"I hope school is going well." Asked Brayden.
"Yes. Everything is fine." Answered Aria.
"Good. Keep up the good work." Added the father.
After some chatter here and there, Aria eventually announced her departure for school as she finished breakfast. "If you would please excuse me. It is time for me to go to school."
"Have a good day." Said Ava.
"Thank you. See you in the evening." She replied before exiting the room.
As she left the house, she entered the car waiting outside, and as it cruised through the morning streets and the driver dropped Aria at school, another scene unfolded elsewhere in the city. Perched atop a certain building, a boy with a cape hat and headphones was deeply engrossed in his game console. Sensing a shift in the wind, he muttered to himself, "Seems like there's a visitor in town. I wonder what kind."
Meanwhile, at Everly Girl's School, Aria's presence was a fixture among her peers. She was as the "Everly's Ice Princess," a monicker reflecting both her beauty and her aloof demeanor.
As the school day concluded, Aria waited her driver to come pick her up, but he never showed up. Growing uneasy with how late it was getting, she decided to walk back home alone. As she continued to walk, the sun was already setting. Sometime later, she took a shortcut through a small street to make her way towards her house. As she was walking someone sneaked up on her, restrained her, pressed a cloth with sleeping drug on her face and then kidnapped her as she fell unconscious.
As Aria regained consciousness, she found herself in what seemed to be an old, abandoned warehouse. Her hands were bound, and she was surrounded by menacing figures.
A man leered at her with a knife in hand, his words dripping with malice. "Well, don't you have the prettiest face."
"W-who are you?" Aria managed to stammer, her voice trembling voice trembling with fear.
"We're just nobodies, my dear," he taunted "But you, Aria Whitmore, you're worth quite a ransom. Your parents have made a few enemies, you see. It's only natural someone would want to see them fall."
"I see she's awake." Said his partner.
"Yeah. But wouldn't it be a waste not to have a taste of her. After all, the ultimatum has already been sent and once the ransom is sent, we will go so why not enjoy ourselves." Creepily said the kidnapper with a deranged grin on his face.
"Suit yourself, but don't damage the goods too much." Replied his accomplice as he simply sat down and lighted his cigarette.
"Yeah sir! Well time to dig in." said the kidnapper with an eerie and devilish tone.
"N-no! Stay away! D-don't come any closer!" Aria pleaded, panic rising as the kidnapper advanced toward her. She struggled in vain against her restraints.
"Don't worry I'll be extra gentle" said the kidnapper as he licked his lips and then jumped on her.
"N-NO LEAVE ME ALONE!" she screamed as she was trying to fight back.
"Hahahaa! Stop struggling. You'll enjoy it soon enough." He said as he ripped her shirt off, revealing her bra.
"Well, would you look at that. You've got quite the jiggles under there. I'll be sure to enjoy myself and take extra care of them. Now spread your legs wide." He said as he unzipped his pants and spread out her legs. "Noooo!" resounded the screams of the young girl.
"What utter trash." Said the accomplice standing behind as he sighed and turned his face on the side.
"Huh? What the…? What's that?" he said as he thought that he had seen some kind of dog close to door. But as he blinked his eyes, there was nothing. "Maybe I'm little tired."
He said as he rubbed his eyes. And just as he turned away, behind him was a beast. "AAARGH!" he screamed as blood splattered on the floor. "Huh? What was that?" said the kidnapper as he faced behind.
"What happe…?" he said as Aria, who opened her eyes saw something unimaginable. Her wide eyes had witnessed the brutal demise of her captor, the scene unfolding in surreal horror before her. In an instant, the upper body of the kidnapper disappeared as the blood from the lower half of the kidnapper splattered all over Aria.
"Haah. I was wondering who was causing such a ruckus, BUT IT WAS JUST LUMPS OF MEAT READY TO BE EATEN. HAHAHA! YOU'RE NEXT GIRLY." Said the wolf-like monster extatically as he rushed towards the girl, his jaws widened and his fangs were left baring, depicting a scene from the worst of nightmares.
As the girl's expression was shrouded in despair and fear, her eyes locked onto what was to be an inevitable ending, a sudden figure came crushing down at an incredible speed. The shockwave produced as it landed, blew away the beast, while the girl remained unharmed.
As the dust cleared, "Ouch. I really should really learn how to control my strength better." Casually remarked the boy who appeared in front of them, his tone belying the gravity of the situation.
"Hey you? Who are you to come in-between me and my prey?" snarled the wolf-like beast, its hostility palpable.
"Who I am? I guess you could say I'm just a wanderer. Wolf Demon." Cryptically replied the boy as he tilted his head, a pendant hanging from his neck become visible.
"A wanderer you say. No way am I gonna believe tha…huh..." responded the beast as its words trailed off. "Th-that pendant around your neck. The symbol on it. I-it's the insignia of the B…" stuttered the Wolf Demon as his expression went from rage to fear after seeing the insignia on the boy's pendant, striking it with immeasurable fear.
Before it could finish its sentence, the boy inadvertently hit the beast with a powerful kick sending it flying. "Sorry, but I really would like that you keep it to yourself. I don't like that name all that much." Said the young boy as he harbored a cold murderous gaze.
"Y-you-YOU BASTAAAARD! I CAN SMELL IT ON YOU. THE IMPURE BLOOD OF A HUMAN MINGLED WITH THAT OF A DEMON. SO HOW DARE YOU STAND BEFORE ME!" said the wolf demon who was filled with rage and tried to attack the young boy.
"Take this. You should cover yourself up. Oh! And one more thing to remember. If you're scared, simply close your eyes." Said the boy as he handed his long coat to Aria and faced her with a gentle smile while putting on his headphones.
As she closed her eyes. "You should try listening to music sometimes. It really calms your mind. Plus, you should remember that sound is faster than your paws, you stupid wolf." Said the mysterious young boy as he took one step forward and snapped his fingers.
"Where is he? Where did he go?" said the wolf demon as the young boy had disappeared right in front his very eyes.
"I'm right here." Said the young boy as he raised his arm and put his hand on the wolf demon's abdomen.
"When did he get there? How is he so fast? Thought the wolf demon as the other side of his abdomen burst open as it then collapsed.
"Don't tell me that even to a low half-breed like him, I'm going to lose. He's not even a Pure-blooded B…" murmured the wolf demon as it died.
As the young boy removed his headphones, he slowly approached Aria. "It's okay now. It's over." The boy reassured Aria, his voice calm and steady. She opened her eyes, staring up at the young boy in front of her who had saved her life.
As relief spread out, exhausted and overwhelmed, Aria fainted in the young boy's arms.
"Guess it was a hectic night for her. But now what am I supposed to do." said the young boy, now burdened with her unconscious form, contemplating his next move.
The following morning, Aria woke up in a hospital room, her parents by her side, visibly. They embraced her tightly, showering her with assurances of safety.
As Aria processed the events of the previous night, a question gnawed at her mind: had it all been a terrible nightmare or was it a grim reality that she had narrowly escaped?
