Chapter 31 - Chapter 30 my luck

Waiting for the medicine to take effect, whether she could withstand such power or not." Kilian looked at Iron Man triumphantly, shaking his head. "You, hiding behind your shell, dare to call yourself a superhero? One man saving the world?"

His expression suddenly changed, filled with hatred. "You think you're a god? Able to look down on others? No! You're nothing!"

"You're not worthy of Pepper! Let alone the world's admiration!"

"Do you think you, alone, can defeat so many of us? Delusional!"

Iron Man was trembling with rage.

Kilian was pushing him!

Two choices.

At most, he could only save one!

But was he the kind of man to be coerced?

Iron Man suddenly smirked.

In the sky, there came a rumble.

Everyone looked up.

Streaks of light cut through the darkness, revealing a sky filled with Iron Man suits.

Iron Man raised an eyebrow and said to Jarvis, "Target the high heat sources."

"Fire at will!"

"Send them to meet their maker!"

"Yes, sir!"

As soon as Jarvis finished speaking, all the suits engaged, battling the fire creatures head-on.

Kilian took a deep breath.

Then he jumped down from the platform.

By now, his body was beginning to turn red.

Flames erupted all over him.

He didn't hesitate.

With a punch, he struck Iron Man directly.

It was a swift and decisive blow, burning with intense heat.

It pierced through Iron Man's armor.

Spectators watching the live broadcast couldn't help but comment, "My God! How powerful is he?"

"He punched through Iron Man's armor with one blow?"

"Can Iron Man even beat him?"

Iron Man lay on the ground, trembling with fear.

Fortunately, he reacted quickly and ejected himself from the armor!

Otherwise, he shuddered to think of the outcome!

This power was terrifying!

He had encountered a fire creature before!

He had fought one before!

He had missed three out of three shots!

He remembered that clearly!

Though he knew the man had spared him back then.

But that man's power was nowhere near as potent as Kilian's!

"Without the armor, you're nothing!"

Kilian grew bolder as he fought.

He charged at Iron Man, who was lying on the ground.

"Jarvis, quickly, get me another suit!"

Iron Man shouted.

In the blink of an eye, another suit arrived.

But before Iron Man could put it on, Kilian had already split it in half with his bare hands!

The expression on Iron Man's face was one of utter shock!

This Kilian!

He destroyed two of his suits with his bare hands?!

Black Widow and Hawkeye were also taken aback.

They knew about Iron Man's suits!

This man could split them in half with his bare hands!

Clearly, he was on a different level from these ordinary fire creatures.

It seemed they were dealing with a formidable foe!

He looked at Iron Man lying on the ground, proudly lifting his chin. He wanted to humiliate Iron Man in front of the whole city, just as he had been humiliated before. He had endured this for so long! All for this day!

With this thought, Kilian immediately kicked Iron Man viciously, causing him significant injury.

"Your woman, your president, and the people you're supposed to protect are all watching you," Kilian said, his face almost grimacing as he looked at Iron Man.

"They're waiting for their hero to save them!"

"But now, do you think you're worthy?"

Kilian approached Iron Man step by step.

Iron Man hurriedly said, "Jarvis!"

Then he instinctively reached for his ear.

His communicator had fallen to the ground, too far away for him to conveniently retrieve it.

"Are you begging me? Begging might spare them," Kilian raised his chin, now standing in front of Iron Man, his tone mocking.

In his eyes, whether Iron Man had his armor or not, he was equally vulnerable.

"Oh my God... Iron Man has been beaten without any chance of fighting back!"

"Iron Man... he's done for..."

"Who else can come and save us... stop these dreadful fire creatures!"

The people watching the live broadcast were disappointed with Iron Man at this point.

The suddenly exploding blocks, the impending danger to the leader.

The streets were strewn with destroyed debris.

Iron Man was no match for the villain.

This undoubtedly plunged everyone into panic.

Black Widow and Hawkeye wanted to run to Iron Man's rescue as they watched the fire creatures closing in on him.

But they were also injured at the moment.

Coupled with the relentless pursuit of the fire creatures, they couldn't break away.

Although the Iron Legion had helped them a lot.

But the enemy had regeneration ability and high body temperature.

It wasn't easy to hit their hearts.

"What? You're not willing to beg me?" Kilian looked at Iron Man, who had stood up from the ground, contemptuously asking.

There was a hint of arrogance in his eyes, followed by mockery.

"At this point, do you still have a choice?"

Iron Man took a step back, looking at Kilian and said, "I know, I've been a jerk before."

"Chasing women, being arrogant and all that, but I've changed."

Iron Man continued to step back.

He wanted to delay Kilian with words, then pick up the communicator and make one last desperate attempt.

"You know, nobody is perfect. People make mistakes, right? You can't be so petty."

Iron Man went on.

"Petty?" Kilian seemed to be sensitive to the word.

His expression was no longer as calm as before.

Seeing this, Iron Man quickly tried to pick up the communicator.

He swore it was the fastest he had ever moved.

But before he could retrieve it, Kilian kicked him again, sending him flying.

The pain all over his body made Iron Man unable to speak.

Even though his forehead was covered in blood, he didn't have time to deal with it.

Iron Man lay on the ground, feeling extremely frustrated.

"Do you really think everyone in the world is a fool?"

"You, Tony Stark, think you're the smartest."

"...Even if you manage to create all this scrap metal, you're still worthless!" Kilian, engulfed in flames, aimed at Iron Man.

Everyone closed their eyes at that moment.

Pepper struggled desperately.

But she couldn't utter a word.

Black Widow and Hawkeye fought desperately to save him.

But they were surrounded by fire creatures.

The leader, suspended from the crane, shook his head, letting out a sigh.

Everyone closed their eyes.

Silence filled the air.

Nick Fury frowned as he watched the surveillance footage.

He had already called Captain America over.

Hopefully, he would arrive in time!

"Vroom... Boom... Bang..."

Just as the situation reached a critical point.

The sound of a speeding motorcycle cut through the air.

This caught Kilian's attention as he was about to unleash fire on Iron Man.

A beautiful drift, a perfect brake.

The motorcycle came to a steady stop in front of Kilian.

A teenager wearing a short-sleeved shirt, with a huge black bag on his back, dismounted from the motorcycle.

"Indra?!"

Black Widow recognized him immediately.

"What's he doing here? Offering himself up to die?!"

Black Widow exclaimed, surprised.

Hawkeye, who had thought it was Captain America arriving, was now filled with renewed hope for the fight.

But he hadn't expected it to be Indra?!

Frustrated, he cursed, "Nuts, coming here to die?!"

The viewers, clinging to every bit of hope, were shocked to see an ordinary person dismounting from the motorcycle. Many found it hard to accept.

Of course, most people continued to keep their eyes closed.

Only a few shook their heads and sighed.

In truth, the blame couldn't entirely be placed on Indra for riding the motorcycle.

The neighborhood he had been in before had been completely destroyed by the explosion.

If it weren't for his good luck, there probably wouldn't even be a bicycle in sight, let alone a motorcycle.

And considering how far away he was from here, walking wasn't an option.

So, he had no choice but to come over on a motorcycle.

Though, admittedly, it was a bit flashy.

Looking at the numerous fire creatures around, Indra couldn't help but take a deep breath. He thought,

"I didn't see this many fire creatures on the LED screen. Why are there suddenly so many?"

Just as he was pondering this, a system voice rang in his ears.

"Host's current luck value is one hundred percent. Host, please don't worry. You can fight without reservation!"

Worrying was definitely not something Indra would do.

But...

"I knew you'd come looking for me!"

Kilian's voice reached Indra's ears.

"But I don't need you anymore."

Kilian looked at Indra, filled with regret.

Indra mimicked his expression, shaking his head sadly. He said,

"I'm just here to fulfill my promise."

Kilian shrugged, saying to Indra,

"I don't remember what you said."

Indra smirked, saying,

"You'll find out the consequences."
