I got there a few minutes after she did.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm okay. I just have a bad headache."
There were the lies again. That was the second time that night she had lied to me.
I stepped towards her and lifted her chin so she was looking right into my eyes.
"Don't ever lie to me, little fox," I said as his eyes went to my lips. She licked her bottom lip, the gesture driving me crazy. Fuck, I was already hard like a horny teenager and I had barely kissed her. "Talk to me. What's bothering you?"
"Stop pretending you care about me. You went to New York for a month a day after we got married."
"I care. I had business to take care of in New York. I wouldn't have left if I didn't have to."
"You don't have to lie to me. Don't mess with other women and lie to my face that it was business."
