Vulcan's POV
There was no point in packing too many clothes when I couldn't afford to wear luxurious items anymore. Selling my belongings was the last thing I wanted to do, so I packed only a few necessities into the smallest suitcase I had. Once I was done, I headed downstairs, where the others were already prepared to leave. Seeing Odessa and Mia ready to go this way shattered my heart, and my pace slowed as I descended the stairs.
"We're ready, and I'm leaving now," one of the sisters said, standing up. I nodded in acknowledgment.
"Aria, let's go," she called to her sister, who stood and grabbed her suitcase. Both of them, carrying the same bags they'd arrived with, left the mansion. I just watched as they walked out.
I hadn't realized Odessa had been staring at me until I pulled my gaze away from the doorway. She spoke in a soft, almost broken whisper, "I'll be on my way now."
