Kuoh Forest
Kaito materialized in a clearing within a dense forest, still holding Asia in his arms. The light of the full moon filtered through the treetops, casting a silvery glow over the scene. The forest was silent, except for the gentle rustle of leaves in the wind and the occasional nocturnal bird call. The air was fresh, carrying the scent of damp earth and vegetation, bringing a momentary sense of peace to Kaito.
He gently laid Asia down on a makeshift bed of leaves and moss. His translucent wings still glowed with an ethereal light, illuminating the clearing with a soft radiance. Kaito knelt beside Asia, observing her pale face and the marks left by the chains on her wrists and ankles. Her eyes were closed, and her breathing was shallow but steady. He could see the exhaustion and pain etched into her delicate features.
Kaito looked at the unconscious Asia, his heart heavy with worry. The wounds on her wrists and ankles were deep, and he could see bruises covering various parts of her body. He felt a wave of despair as he realized he didn't know exactly how to treat her injuries. Despite his power and strength, he lacked the medical knowledge needed to ensure she would be okay.
"Asia, please be alright," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. He carefully held her hands, trying to clean the blood and dirt from her wounds. Each touch was done with the utmost gentleness, fearing he might cause her more pain.
Kaito felt a mixture of frustration and helplessness. "I should be able to protect her," he thought, the guilt weighing heavily on his shoulders. He looked around the forest, searching for any sign of help or any resource he could use. The clearing was enveloped in silence, and the solitude of the place only intensified the sense of urgency.
Kaito observed Asia, his heart tightening with worry. He could feel her life force diminishing with each weak and irregular breath. The color was draining from her face, and he could see clearly that she was losing strength rapidly. The fear of losing her intensified with every passing second.
Kaito knew he had to act immediately. He realized the only way to save Asia was to use his healing power. However, there was a problem: his fairy form, with its ethereal power, was also intertwined with a dark energy he still didn't fully understand. This could complicate the situation and potentially worsen Asia's condition.
To safely use his healing power, he would need to revert to his human form. However, this meant that his human alter ego, the other Kaito, could take control. The doubt and fear of losing complete control haunted him. He didn't know if he would be able to return to his fairy form once he allowed the other Kaito to emerge.
But time was running out. Asia's life force was fading rapidly. Kaito looked at her, seeing her serene yet pale face, and decided he had no choice. With fierce determination, he muttered to himself, "Screw it, I'll trust the other Kaito. Asia needs me now."
Kaito took a deep breath and focused, feeling the ethereal energy around him beginning to dissipate. His fairy form started to fade, giving way to his human form. The bright light surrounding him dimmed and vanished, and he felt the familiar weight of his human form return.
As he reverted to his human form, Kaito felt more desperate, more vulnerable. The urgency to save Asia drove him, and he knew he couldn't waste any more time. He approached her and raised his right hand, feeling the magical energy pulsate through his body.
Kaito concentrated intensely, channeling all his power into a single action. He felt the magic flowing through his fingers, and before his eyes, a small tree began to sprout from his hand. The tree grew rapidly, its branches and leaves expanding until a bright red fruit appeared hanging from one of the branches.
With extreme care, Kaito plucked the fruit from the tree and held it delicately. He knew this fruit contained the vital energy needed to save Asia. He approached her, his hand trembling slightly, and offered the fruit to her lips.
"Asia, please eat this," Kaito whispered, his voice full of hope and desperation. He held the fruit close to her mouth, hoping the energy within it would be enough to restore her vitality and health.
Kaito held the fruit near Asia's mouth but realized she was still unconscious, unable to eat on her own. Frustration and despair grew within him. He didn't know what to do to feed Asia and ensure she received the vital energy from the fruit. He tried to open her mouth gently, but his hands were trembling, and he feared hurting her further.
He looked at the fruit in his hand, knowing time was running out. "Asia, please wake up," he murmured, feeling helpless. Kaito's mind raced, desperately searching for a solution. Then an idea struck him. Though hesitant, he knew he had to try.
"Forgive me for this, Asia," Kaito said, his voice filled with emotion. He placed the fruit in his own mouth and began to chew it, turning it into a paste. With his heart pounding, he leaned over Asia, bringing his face close to hers.
With great care, Kaito used his fingers to open Asia's mouth. Slowly, he transferred the chewed fruit from his mouth to hers. His lips touched hers gently, and he felt a shiver run through his body. Carefully, he used his tongue to push the fruit down her throat, encouraging her to swallow.
He felt her body's initial resistance, but he continued with smooth and precise movements. Gradually, he noticed she began to swallow, the fruit moving down her throat. Kaito pulled back slightly, watching closely for any signs of change.
Asia's body began to glow faintly, a soft golden light emanating from within her. The bruises and wounds on her wrists and ankles started to fade as if being healed by a miraculous force. Her breathing became more regular, and a healthy color returned to her pale face.
Asia's eyes slowly opened, blinking against the soft light. The first thing she saw was Kaito's face very close to hers, with his lips still touching hers. Surprise and confusion filled her eyes for a moment, but they quickly turned to recognition and gratitude.
Kaito realized Asia was waking up and quickly pulled back, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment. He opened his mouth to apologize, but before he could say anything, Asia threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly.
"Thank you, Kaito-san," she said, her voice soft and filled with emotion. Tears of relief began to stream down her face as she clung to him. "You saved me. Thank you for everything."
Kaito, surprised by the sudden hug, wrapped his arms around Asia, feeling a wave of relief and happiness. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay, Asia," he replied, his voice gentle. "I'm glad you're safe now."
They remained in each other's embrace for a moment, the relief and gratitude filling the air around them. The forest surrounding them was silent, witnessing the emotional reunion between Kaito and Asia.
