Kaito finished getting ready and was looking at himself in the mirror when his phone vibrated with a message from Hiro. He picked up the phone and read the message, feeling his friend's excitement spill through the screen.
Hiro: Hey, Kaito! I'm on my way to the park. Can't wait to see how tonight goes. Are you ready?
Kaito smiled, feeling Hiro's excitement contagious. He replied quickly.
Kaito: I'm ready, Hiro. Leaving home now. See you at the park.
Kaito put his phone away and took one last look in the mirror, adjusting his clothes and making sure he looked presentable. Then he left the room.
"I'm leaving, Mom, Dad," Kaito said as he descended the stairs.
Miki appeared from the kitchen, a warm smile on her face. "Have fun, Kaito. And be kind to the girls."
Gorou waved from the couch where he was reading the newspaper. "Have fun, son. And remember what your mother said."
Kaito smiled and waved back. "Got it. See you later!"
He left the house and started walking toward the park. The night was beginning to fall, and the fresh spring air carried a light scent of flowers. Kaito felt more relaxed as he walked, enjoying the tranquility of the environment.
Upon arriving at the park, Kaito spotted Hiro waiting near the entrance with an excited smile on his face. Beside Hiro were Yumi and Ami, the two second-year girls they were having the date with. Yumi had long brown hair and bright eyes, while Ami was a bit shorter, with short hair and a shy smile.
"Hey, Kaito!" called Hiro, waving at him. "Over here!"
Kaito smiled at seeing Hiro and waved back, walking towards the group. As he approached, he noticed the excitement in Hiro's eyes and the warm smiles from the girls.
"Hi, everyone," said Kaito, greeting them with a nod. "Sorry for the delay."
Yumi and Ami smiled at Kaito, clearly excited about the night.
"Hi, Kaito," said Yumi, with a friendly smile. "Don't worry, you're not late."
Ami, more reserved, gave a small nod and smiled. "Hi."
Kaito smiled at Yumi and Ami but couldn't shake a slight bad feeling about Yumi. He decided to keep this feeling in mind but didn't want to spoil the night with suspicions.
"So, what would you like to do first?" Kaito asked, trying to keep the mood light and casual.
Hiro, always enthusiastic, suggested, "How about we start with a walk around the park? It's a beautiful night."
Yumi nodded, still smiling. "Sounds like a great idea."
Ami, always shy, just agreed with a nod.
The group started walking through the park, enjoying the fresh breeze and the soft evening light. The trees swayed gently in the wind, creating a serene and welcoming environment. As they walked, Hiro and Kaito took turns keeping the conversation lively and including Yumi and Ami.
"So, Yumi, have you been to this park before?" asked Kaito, trying to break the ice.
Yumi smiled, nodding. "Yes, a few times. I love coming here to relax and stroll."
Ami, who seemed more comfortable next to Yumi, added timidly, "I like coming here too. It's a quiet place to think."
Hiro, always the most enthusiastic of the group, suggested, "After the walk, how about we go to the arcade? We can have some fun before dinner."
Yumi and Ami seemed excited about the idea, and Kaito agreed, appreciating Hiro's suggestion. "Sounds great, Hiro. Let's make the most of the night."
As they walked, Kaito took the opportunity to observe Yumi and Ami more closely. Yumi seemed confident and outgoing, while Ami was more reserved and shy. Kaito noticed that Yumi often took the initiative in conversations, while Ami felt more comfortable following her friend's lead.
Arriving at the arcade, the group split into pairs. Kaito called Yumi to play some rounds of "The King of Fighters" and racing games, while Hiro and Ami went to explore other games.
Kaito and Yumi headed to the fighting games section. "Shall we start with 'The King of Fighters'?" suggested Kaito, trying to keep the conversation light.
Yumi smiled and nodded. "Sure! I hope you're ready to lose."
Kaito laughed, appreciating her confidence. "We'll see about that."
They started playing, and Kaito observed Yumi while they played. He noticed how skilled she was at the game and how much she enjoyed it. After a few rounds, Kaito suggested they move on to the racing games.
"You did great in 'The King of Fighters'. Let's see how you do in racing," said Kaito, smiling.
Yumi accepted the challenge, and they headed to the racing machines. While waiting for the machine to load, Kaito decided to use the opportunity to ask Yumi a few questions.
Kaito took advantage of the moment when Yumi was distracted, adjusting the seat of the racing machine. He reached out, lightly touching her head and using his powers to induce a spontaneous truth. A soft glow passed through Yumi's eyes, signaling that the spell had worked.
"Yumi," said Kaito, his voice calm and casual, "what really made you want to come on this date?"
Yumi blinked a few times, as if trying to organize her thoughts, before responding honestly.
"I wanted to come on the date because... I wanted you to take Ami's virginity."
Kaito was surprised by Yumi's direct and unusual response. He looked at her with an expression of disbelief, trying to understand if she was serious.
"Does Ami know about your plans?" asked Kaito, trying to keep his voice calm.
Yumi hesitated for a moment, her expression showing a mix of confusion and embarrassment. "She... she knows that I wanted her to loosen up a bit more, but I'm not sure if she fully understands what I had in mind."
Kaito took a deep breath, trying to process the information. He knew he needed to handle the situation carefully, especially to protect Ami's feelings and avoid any discomfort or misunderstanding.
"Yumi, you need to understand that this isn't something that should be forced or planned like that," said Kaito, trying to be as gentle as possible. "Ami should make her own choices and be completely comfortable with them."
Yumi bit her lip, looking a bit regretful. "You're right, Kaito. I just wanted to help Ami loosen up more, but I think I went too far. I'm sorry."
Kaito nodded, feeling the sincerity in Yumi's apology. "It's alright, Yumi. We just need to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has fun tonight."
They continued playing, keeping the conversation light and casual. Kaito made sure to keep a close eye on Ami, ensuring she was having fun and not feeling pressured.
When they reunited with Hiro and Ami again, Kaito noticed that Ami seemed relaxed and enjoying the night. He exchanged a look with Yumi, who seemed to have understood the importance of letting things happen naturally.
