Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Why Hasn't She Arrived Yet?

After Jasper had sent the elf away, he went out on the terrace to watch the demon king and he had a proud look on his face... He thought he had handled the situation very well and made the deal because he had not spoken to anyone but Kael and Asmodeus for the last three hundred years.

Meanwhile the demon king didn't seem to be fighting anyone, he thought to himself,

'I'll have to find something else to watch... there are no adventurers downstairs either. I think it's time to use it'

Jasper went downstairs and, looking towards the stairs leading upstairs, began chanting incantations aloud in the ancient demon language,

"SÁRNOLATH BRAKTHU INTHORATH!"

As he finished his sentence, blood began to rush from all around the castle in front of the stairs,

"VORINETH THALACOR, THRI'KARATH!"

With that, the accumulated blood formed the shape of a door that a human could easily pass through.

Jasper looked up at the ceiling, his eyes glowed in crimson from the intense blood flowing through his body,

"GOLTHARUM ENSHINOR, SAURIMATH!"

As he said it, the roof of the castle disappeared, the sun was still high, Jasper thought to himself,

'Damn it! It's still daytime, we won't have the dramatic effect of the moon this time'

Jasper cut off the tip of his finger and his blood drained into the accumulation of blood and he shouted for the last time,

"BYALACOR NETHRAK, KALADATH! PORA WASA TO NARDO!"

At the end of his words, the blood puddle that had formed in the shape of a door stabilized and turned into a portal that lit up red and opened into a jungle.

Where could this portal lead to, another country? another continent? another planet?

or maybe to another dimension? unfortunately we won't find that out in this episode.

Jasper took his drink and cloak then entered the portal.

Meanwhile, the elf lady who had been sent to her village against her will was very angry.

Ninety percent of the elves in the village were really fat. No surprise that they started to run out of food...

A ragged archer in a leather suit spotted her. He rolled like a ball in the grass to her side. He barely got to his feet and asked,

"Princess, none of the watchers saw you coming, are you all right? You look very angry."

She pushed him slightly out of anger, the archer lost his balance and fell to the ground and as he tried to stand up, she said,

"What do you think, huh?! I want Kael's neck for fooling me with his stupid game and I want the head of that alchemist who made me feel humiliated."

She pushed the fat archer elf with her foot and he rolled until he hit a tree. When he stopped, he fell asleep as if nothing had happened...

The houses in the elf village were made of trees, but the trees had not been cut down. The trees shaped certain parts of them into houses for the elves to stay in, and these plants could move at their will.

So one morning the elves might wake up and find their home in an unfamiliar Neighborhood...

She made her way to a tree with big white leaves right in the middle of the village. Around the tree was a staircase leading upwards and at the top of the staircase was a natural house that the tree had created for them. This was the place where she lived, she angrily climbed the stairs and went inside, where her father was lying in a hammock and eating.

He was fat like the other elves, but he was quite short compared to them, about 160-170 cm tall. She shouted at him and his father, who was calmly eating, jumped up,

''Are you eating and having a good time again?! While your daughter is on her way to offer her body to a man she doesn't know to solve the hunger problem of her people?''

Her chubby father approached her with food in his mouth and said.

''Oh you're back, Welcome! So what about that alchemist Kael told you about, did he find a solution to our food problem?''

She told the whole story from beginning to end and said,

"I want that man who humiliated me and Kael to die!''

His father replied with concern on his face,

''Kael went to the human's country right now and he's prabably in a very important position because he has a lot of golds. Of course, if we go after him we can probably catch him, but why?''

''What, why?''

''I know you hate our eating habits but isn't that bit cruel that you want to drag all of us to our doom?''

''Of course I don't want that! What the hell are you talking about, dad?''

''Then why do you want us to go after a vampire who can create golems in his castle, build portals in rooms for fun and at the snap of a finger, send you here in a second from a distance that would take a week on a horse?''

''I never tho-''

"Are you out of your mind, my dear?!''

"I'm sorry, I was so angry I didn't realize how powerful he was''

''Ahh, it's okay, this whole misunderstanding probably happened because Kael told you to offer your body. He said he'd see you in two weeks?

''Yeah.''

"And all he wanted was your blood, right? And he gave you gold for it''

"I think so''

"No wonder that Kael has gotten so rich. Next time you go, you mustn't give him your blood without telling him what you want, or he might send you here again with a bag of gold''

"YOU WANT ME TO GO TO THAT CREEPY CASTLE AGAIN?!''

His father said, patting her on the back,

"I know it's hard for you Sylvaine but you have to do it for the sake of your people''

"Okay, but I will not be so polite if he interrupts me or insults me by saying inappropriate things about my body again!''

His father said laughing,

"Sure, whatever you say''

Two weeks had passed but Sylvaine still hadn't set off. In fact, during these two weeks she never left her bed, even though she couldn't even sleep.

Although she looked tough on the outside, that room in the castle had affected her more than she thought it would. What if she does something to anger that cruel vampire and he imprisons her in a mirror?

Meanwhile, back at the castle, Jasper was craving blood again but there was no one near the castle except the stupid bunch of human adventurers downstairs.

Why hadn't she arrived yet? he thought,

'Maybe it's just that not everyone is as punctual as Kael...'

He put on his invisibility cloak and went down to watch the adventurers.

Jasper seemed to have really taken a break from alchemy. Once again, for the last two weeks he had done nothing but eat junk food and watch people...

A day passed, two days passed, but there was still no sign from the elf, had they not made a deal as he believed? He had to do something about it...
