Jake's eyes also turned cold when he saw Dylan. He had clashed with them earlier that morning and had bumped into them when leaving the house at night.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking that question?" Jake asked in a low voice.
Dylan snorted dismissively.
At that moment, John's eyes fixated on the supplies these people had brought with them. Envy turned his eyes a shade of green.
After the morning's chaos, he hadn't dared to venture out and had obediently stayed inside the apartment. But to say he wasn't eager to find food or anything of the sort would be a downright lie.
They had scoured the apartment, but if there were any food to be found, it wasn't enough for all four of them.
At best, it could last a few more days.
And that was only if they rationed. However, after a few days of intense hunger when they had stayed together on the 8th floor, they had overindulged.
At this rate, they estimated they would run out of food by tomorrow or the day after.
