"You dared me, and now I'm coming for you," the voice sneered over the phone.
"You've gone too far by involving my child, Ethan," Maxwell growled.
"Sorry if I took it too personally, brother," the voice mocked. "But I need $10 billion in my account within 2 hours, or I'll show you where to find her lifeless body."
The line went dead, and Maxwell's grip on the phone tightened in rage. "Damn it!" he cursed.
"Maxwell, what's happening?" Marcus asked, sensing his distress.
"Ethan's kidnapped her!" Maxwell exclaimed, and the room fell silent.
Mrs. Adriana's father leapt to his feet. "Your own brother kidnapped your daughter? How could this happen?"
Maxwell's mind raced. "I don't know, but I need to think of something fast."
Mrs. Adriana turned on Isadora. "This is all your fault. If you'd been watching her, she wouldn't have left the mansion."
