Chapter 12:
As the sun rose from the east, Eun Won was snuggling closer into her warm covers. She decided yesterday to sleep in until ten o'clock. Her bed was so warm that she didn't want to wake up. As the morning went by, she was woken up by Na-Ri. "Mistress, it is time to wake up." "Morning Na-Ri" said Eun Won. "Morning, Mistress" said Na-Ri. "Have you slept well" asked Eun Won. "Yes, mistress I have slept well" said Na-Ri. Eun Won took a long warm rosemary bath and got dressed in a light blue dress with the help of Na-Ri.
The door opened and in came a servant from the kitchen. She put the dishes on the table with the help of Na-Ri. Kang Eun Won and Kim Na-Ri both began eating. " Let's go out to the market" said Eun Won. Na-Ri just nodded her head towards her mistress. They were both so hungry they devoured the food until they were full.
When they were done, they went out of the door. They looked around for any sign of movement. They didn't want anyone following them. Following the pathway to the market was exciting for Eun Won because she was not used to how the scenery looked around her. It was covered in tall trees of different kinds. The green grass was freshly cut. Flowers of different kinds bloomed brightly facing the morning sun.
The market was busy in the morning. Men and women walking and selling things. From food to clothing. Eun Won began looking at the first stall that sold clothes. "Nothing interesting" she thought. As she went along the stalls something caughes her eye. "Steam buns". She walked over to the stall. "Can I please get four steam buns" asked Eun Won to the man. The man prepared the buns and said "It three taels." Eun Won gave them the money and went to the stalls. She noticed that there was a woman's bathplace where women go to relax. She decided to go in with Na-Ri.
The inside was full of women in towls. Steam from the hot baths was in the air. Each gossiping about the royal family or their day. Cold fruits like watermelon, grapes, apples, mandrin and other fruits were served to eat. Some of them even enjoyed a glass of wine. "Just the place for relaxing and learning gossip." Eun Won thought.
Eun Won went over to a room where she changed her clothes for a towel and so did Na-Ri. They walked over to a big square bath filled with hot water. They both climbed into the square bath and sink their bodies in the water. Eun Won held back a slight moan from relaxing so much.
"Did you hear that the Emperor is looking for a woman." said a woman's voice. "They say her name is Kang Eun Won and that the emperor, and she met when they were younger" said another voice. "The emperor invited three women that looked like the woman to the bouquet that his mother held, and only two were left in evening" said another voice. Eun Won's eyes grew wide because they were talking about her. "They said that the two women that were left looked identical and only a small black mole dot on one of their faces could identify them. I wonder which one is the real Eun Won" said another voice. Eun Won was shocked to hear them talking about her. She thought that only she and Kim Mi-Ri knew about this. When they were done, they put on their clothes and went out the women's bath place. They stroll along the streets when they come across a drinking palace.
Arriving at the drinking place, they went in and requested a window view that looked down on the people. "Can you please get four bottles of 'Smile Drunk' and some peanuts", Eun Won asked a worker that passed them. When the worker brought the wine, Eun Won started to drink. She decided to get drunk today and nobody was going to stop her. She was enjoying the wine and peanuts like it was her last. As time passed, Eun Won was wasted.
As they walked back to the palace, Eun Won could barely walk right. She stumbled over her own feet. Na-Ri was concentrating on helping her mistress so that she didn't notice a figure in front of her. Eun Won was in a daze, and she walked straight into a tall firm figure. "Shit" Eun Won cursed out loud, rubbing her forehead. She looked up, trying to clear her blurry vision. She saw that it was Yu-Jun. "I'm in deep trouble" said Eun Won softly. "Yes, you are in trouble" said Yu-Jun. Yu-Jun noticed that she was drunk. He put one arm around her shoulders and one hand underneath her leg, lifting her up. Eun Won let out a gasp of shock. While Yu-Jun carried her back to her room she started to mumble.
"Yu-Jun would you believe me if I told you that I'm the Kang Eun Won you have been looking for" said Eun Won. "What did you say" asked Yu-Jun. There was no answer, so Yu-Jun looked down and saw that she was asleep. All that Yu-Jun heard was "would you believe me I told you." Yu-Jun wondered what she was talking about.
Arriving at Eun Won's room, Yu-Jun put her in bed. He took a seat next to her on the bed and started looking at her. This was the first time that he really looked at her. She was beautiful. Her small nose, small round lips and phoenix eyes. Later that night he went back to his chambers.

Yu-Jun point of view:
Arriving at his chambers, he took a warm bath and got dressed in warm clothes. He thought back on today's events. Early in the morning, he was busy doing royal business. In the afternoon, he had supper with his mother. At night, he took a walk to the market and along the way he met the look-alike Eun Won. She was drunk, so he decided to take her back to her room. He wondered why she would drink until she was drunk. He started to fall asleep.
