Chereads / Jacob's Insatiable Desire / Chapter 6 - Episode 6

Chapter 6 - Episode 6

"Do you have nothing better to do in life than to stir up trouble among peaceful people?"

"I was just fixing her clothes... look," as she adjusted Jenny's outfit.

Their professor arrived, so Chona quickly sat in her seat.

"I am so irritated with her," Chona complained to her friend.

"She's flirting with Jacob, thinking she's so beautiful," Jessica added.

"I just thought of something," Chona smirked.

After their instructor's lesson, their classmates hurried to the cafeteria, except for Chona. They went up to the 3rd floor to play a prank by dropping something on Jenny from above.

Jenny grabbed her bag and stood up to leave.

"There she is."

Chona dropped the item, but Jacob called Jenny, making her step back. They both looked up and saw that Jenny was about to be hit on the head by the falling object, so they quickly looked up at the building.

"Are you okay?" Jacob asked worriedly.

"Yes, but who could have done that?"

Chona quickly hid in the comfort room with her friends. Jenny and Jacob went upstairs to see who was up there.

"They're probably here, even planning the break time so no one could see them," Chona said.

"But who would do this?" Jacob wondered.

Jacob noticed the CR on the 3rd floor, about to open it when Jenny spoke.

"Let it go. I can't think of anyone who would do this other than Chona. But you know, I can't blame her because of her anger towards me since we were kids, especially when our father passed away. Let's go, we need to leave."

Chona and her friends left the comfort room and fixed themselves.

"That girl is so disgusting, she even had the nerve to blame me," Chona's friend Claire remarked.

"But we're the ones at fault, right?" Claire replied.

"No, I'm not, it's just you," she said sharply and then left the building.

[Cafeteria]

Jacob sat at Jenny's table.

"Can I sit there?" he asked Jenny.

"Ah, yes, of course," she replied.

Chona found them eating together, clearly irritated with Jenny.

"Jacob, aren't you afraid to be with me?" Jenny asked.

"Why would I be?"

"Because Chona keeps giving me hostile looks."

"Don't worry about her."

After class, Jenny took her bag and walked out of the room. When she was in the middle of the ground, she looked back at their room.

JENNY'S POV

It's strange that Jacob didn't accompany me this time. Maybe he thought about it, which is for the best to avoid any trouble.

Meanwhile, in the locker room, Chona, with her friends, noticed someone peeking at her.

"Chona, we'll go ahead, our dad's already there," Jessica said.

"I'll go ahead too; I have a date with Andrew. You know, he's too busy so we can only go out now," Claire replied.

"Okay, bye, sissy's. See you tomorrow. Take care on your way home."

Her friends left, and she quickly hid some of her things in the locker room to go home. After closing the locker room, she noticed a shadow near the men's locker room door, so she closed and locked it quickly. Then she left. While walking, she still heard footsteps near the building, so she hastened her steps.

When she reached the alley, she was surprised when someone suddenly held her hand and covered her mouth.

"It's Jacob."

Chona's fear dissipated, and she spoke.

"You scared me, Jacob," she said, feeling giddy.

"You really waited for me to come out to keep me safe. You're stalking me, huh. I knew you had feelings for me too, hehe. But by the way, why are you here?"

"Stop involving Jenny," Jacob said firmly.

Chona furrowed her brow and got annoyed.

"And that's all you want to say. My God! You can't blame me, Jacob! Jenny is my step-sister, and I don't consider her as part of my family. But because of her, my dad died!"

"But you can't blame her for all the misfortunes in your life, Chona."

"Stop defending her from me, Jacob."

"You will never be happy if you never forgive someone."

Jacob turned away and left the building.

When she arrived home, her sister noticed that she looked tired and lost in thought, so she prepared a snack for her.

"You look so tired, bro. How's your day?"

"No, I'm not," he replied, avoiding her question.

"Hmm... you're lying."

Jacob just smiled and ate the snack prepared by Yen.

Meanwhile, when Jenny arrived home, she noticed her grandmother arranging some papers and quickly hiding them.

"May i bless, grandma."

"Have a mercy in God," her grandma smiled.

"What are those papers, grandma?" she asked curiously.

"Oh...those? Those are just my papers from before. I was just looking at them, but I couldn't read them anymore."

"Please rest, grandma, don't tire yourself too much. I'll just cook our meal."

Her grandma smiled and watched her as she turned away. And she started preparing for dinner.

The next morning, Jenny woke up to her alarm and voices outside, so she quickly got up to look out on the balcony. She noticed two women and a man with her grandma.

She sprayed some perfume before finally leaving the house.

"Good morning," she greeted the visitors with a smile.

The couple smiled back at her and spoke.

"Who is she, Auntie?" one of the women asked.

"She's Jenny, the girl I adopted. She's so beautiful and smart," her grandma proudly introduced her to the visitors.

The woman furrowed her brow and replied, "Auntie, who are you picking up from the streets and dressing up now? You might end up in trouble later. You're just stressing yourself out."

"Hilda, why do you speak that way? Be ashamed of yourself in front of Jenny," her grandma scolded her.

"Uh, sure, Auntie. I have to go to school," Jenny smiled and left the balcony.

Before she left, she overheard a remark from Hilda, her grandma's niece.

"I told you, Auntie, maybe she's just stressed with your life, and that might be the reason why you'll die."
