Leaving the basement, Julian strode purposefully to the door on the main floor. As he walked, he informed a nearby man, "We're going to Paris right now." The man immediately followed, hurrying out the door behind Julian. They both got into the car, and the man started driving swiftly towards the airport.
Julian didn't wait for his jet; he bought the next available flight to Paris, departing in half an hour. They rushed through the long lines of security. As they walked briskly, the man followed closely behind, speaking urgently into his phone, "Make sure they wait until we get on."
