As Emily lost in thoughts after the conversation with Carla, the twins ran towards her after the ride, each taking big sips of water.
"Mommy, did you see us on there? It was super fast," Andy asked excitedly. Emily couldn't remember the last time she had seen Andy this happy.
She nodded, smiling warmly at him. Growing up, Andy had always been more reserved and shy. Unlike his sister, almost nothing excited him. However, ever since they returned to New York with Alex in their lives, Emily noticed a subtle change in Andy. He had started to open up more, and his usual reserved smile had been replaced by a wide grin more often than not.
"I wanna go on the train ride next," Emma announced, pointing to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the distance. She turned around and grabbed Alex's hand. "Let's go, Daddy," she urged him.
