"Clark, are you afraid of the future Cassandra predicted?"
Walking towards biology class, Pete asked Clark in a low voice.
"Yes, even though it sounds crazy, she showed me some bad things. I don't know how to describe that feeling."
"Clark, I know that feeling."
Pete didn't doubt Clark like Jonathan and Martha did. Instead, he agreed with him.
"When I first met Cassandra, she told me that my way home would be long today. Then I reached into my pocket and realized I had locked my car keys inside the car."
"Maybe fate is something that can be seen."
They kept talking as they entered the biology lab.
This biology class was a mixed course, so students from other classes were also there.
After they sat down, Pete nudged Clark's arm and whispered, "Hey, Clark, Eric is right behind you."
"I know."
Clark replied weakly.
"Did you two have a fight? You used to say hi to Eric whenever you saw him, but lately..."
Pete shrugged, leaving the rest unsaid.
"No, I just don't know how to handle it... I saw Eric in the future Cassandra predicted. We had a conflict."
Clark explained to Pete, looking confused.
"Although I don't know what you saw, Clark, you can't blame someone for something that hasn't happened yet, especially since he's your family."
Pete said seriously.
"I understand, it's not about blaming Eric. I just don't know how to face him."
"Hmm, that's totally up to you, buddy."
Pete stopped talking and looked behind them.
Chloe and Lana were sitting together, whispering to each other.
Lana looked a bit uneasy, frequently glancing to her left.
Eric was sitting there, holding a book, frowning as if he was having trouble with something.
After sighing and feeling sorry for his friend's love life for a second, Pete turned around.
Eric, being watched by Lana, was holding a magic book he got from the Owl Council.
Although he wasn't very interested in magic, it was something to pass the time.
The book contained rituals and spells for making deals with demons, summoning evil spirits, and many other things related to hell and Lucifer.
Eric even found a spell to bring the dead back to life.
"Lucifer, huh?"
Closing the ominous magic book, Eric fell into deep thought.
As far as he knew, the DC world had a bunch of magical superheroes like Constantine, Doctor Fate, and Swamp Thing, as well as villains like Lucifer and the Three Rulers of Hell.
Eric had no intention of getting involved with these people or the magic world's conflicts.
For him, this magic book was just something to read when bored.
To him, magic, which was incredibly valuable to ordinary people, was just a poison to deceive mortals.
While Eric was deep in thought, a student pushed a projector cart down the aisle to his left.
Sitting in the front row, Pete saw the projector and grumbled to Clark, "Oh great!"
"What?"
"Every year, old Mr. Kowalski shows an ancient, cheesy film as a summary for the biology class."
Pete replied weakly.
Clark looked at the projector and asked Pete, "Who told you that? Your brother?"
"No, my dad."
Clark smiled and said, "I'm sure it won't be that bad, Pete."
"Good morning!"
As they talked, a stunning figure walked into the classroom.
A woman with a hot body and long wavy blonde hair, wearing a light green dress, walked in with confident steps.
"Mr. Kowalski had an unexpected event in his teaching career. I am your new biology teacher, teaching you about health and human growth. My name is Miss Atkins."
She turned around and wrote her name on the board.
Her barely-covered hips caught the eyes of all the students in the class.
Especially Pete, who was staring so hard that he grabbed Clark's arm in excitement.
"I'm sorry the air is a bit stuffy here, but we'll be watching a movie, so we'll have to tough it out together."
Miss Atkins smiled and walked to the window to close the curtains.
Her slow, seductive movements showed off her curves to all the boys in the class.
"I can't wait for this tough time."
Pete swallowed hard, staring at Miss Atkins.
Clark didn't say anything, feeling a bit dry in his mouth.
"We're about to start the movie. I hope no one falls asleep, or I might have to consider that in your grades."
Miss Atkins walked down the aisle to the projector and bent down to face Eric, who was focused on his book, ignoring her completely.
"And even if you're not interested in the movie, you have to watch it, right? Eric?"
Lana frowned, "It seems she knows Eric."
"Hmm, not surprising. Though he's a bit cold, Eric is more popular in school than we think."
Chloe saw Eric close his book, still looking indifferent, and said with some schadenfreude, "I think Eric's poker face can be really effective against a woman radiating excess hormones like her."
Lana smiled slightly at Chloe's comment.
"All members of the animal kingdom, from the simplest single-celled organisms to the most complex mammals, strive to reproduce. This ensures that each individual can pass on its genetic material to the next generation. Animals use various courtship methods and mating behaviors…"
The narrator's voice in the movie spoke slowly, accompanied by images of animals mating, making Lana blush slightly.
Clark started to sweat and looked at Miss Atkins standing at the back of the room.
Due to the heat, Miss Atkins was also sweating, with droplets rolling down her skin.
