Chapter 6 - Riko Amanai

-Yoshinobu pov-

In the main building of the school, specifically in the principal's office, Yoshinobu Gakogangi sat behind the desk, reading the papers.

Placing the papers on the desk, Yoshinobu sighed heavily.

"What are they thinking by putting this child with Gojo Satoru on the same team?"

This task was of utmost importance to assign three children to complete it .

Although Gojo Satoru was as strong as a first-rate sorcerer. In addition to Geto Suguro being qualified in terms of strength, they were still children who hadn't been tested much.

Yoshinobu Gakogangi was skeptical of the duo from Tokyo High School, but he was confident in his student, Onoki.

Yoshinobu had never seen a child like this before. His way of speaking, his fighting style, and even his manipulation of battles were not things a twelve-year-old should possess, but rather someone who had experienced hundreds of deadly battles and survived.

Sometimes, when he watched him fight, memories of that night at Kyoto General Hospital would come to him. The haunting figure in his dreams for several months, unable to overcome the experience of nearing death even if it was in a hallucination.

Suddenly, there was a light knock on the office door.

"Yoshinobu-sensei, I am here"

Yoshinobu stiffened in his chair with surprise and wondered to himself.

' I didn't feel his cursed energy or hear his footsteps even though he was already behind the door. It's hard to believe the same person who caused that incident '

"Come in."

-Onoki pov -

Onoki entered the office where Yoshinobu was , sitting behind the desk, seeming not to have noticed me as I approached.

Now I can conserve my energy from leaking out of my body and make it look like regular sorcerer energy.

As for not making any sound, indeed, I've been a ninja for over 80 years. Where would I put my face if I were discovered?

Contrary to what was presented in anime, ninja missions weren't always about spectacular fights or powerful enemies.

Most of the missions were assassinations, poisonings, or kidnappings.

Such skills were required for any ninja.

I sat in the chair in front of Yoshinobu-sensei and asked, "Iori told me you requested to see me."

"Yes, there's a special mission for you. Take a look at this."

After saying that, he pushed a set of papers across the desk towards me. I took the papers and skimmed through them; it contained detailed information about the mission.

It included mission goals , potential enemies, and the people I would work with. This made me feel a little nostalgic for my time as the Inbo Captain under the Second Tsuchikage before moving to the Torture Department.

What a beautiful time it was.

After reading the information and extracting the important points, I returned the papers to Yoshinobu-sensei on the other side of the desk and asked.

"Is there anything else I should be concerned about?"

"In fact, yes, to my knowledge, Masamichi Yaga , the person who assigned the Tokyo team the mission, may try to interfere with the mission's outcome, so you need to be cautious and complete the mission no matter what happens."

Yoshinobu's words were clear already, and Onoki didn't need to try to guess their meaning or read between the lines, so he stood up and headed out to prepare for the mission.

Suddenly, Onoki stopped in front of the door, turned his head to Yoshinobu, and asked.

"Am I allowed to kill?"

A little bit of curse energy escaped Onoki when the words came out of his mouth, but it was quickly suppressed. Sometimes Yoshinobu forgot that this child was a source of a tremendous amount of cursed energy filled with bloodlust, yet sometimes he asked questions that reminded him of that fact, like now.

"No."

It was a short answer of just two letters, but it conveyed the message to Onoki.

"Tch."

Onoki clicked his tongue as he closed the door behind him.

After preparing his equipment, bidding farewell to his mother, and escaping from Iori, Onoki took his first steps outside Kyoto high School for Jujutsu.

-On the other hand, Gojo Satoru pov -

"So we need to accompany the girl and then... erase her?"

Gojo asked confusedly, with Geto beside him feeling the same.

"That's correct."

Suddenly, Gojo turned to Geto and said, "He's already lost it. It seems like the news of his promotion to school director has fried some of his brain wires."

Geto laughed lightly, then regained his serious expression when he asked, "Are we going to reset the cursed technique for Tengen-sama?"

"Yeah, what's this?" Gojo inquired from the side, but the two chose to ignore it.

"Tengen-sama's cursed technique, Tengen-sama's cursed technique allows him to live forever while still experiencing the effects of aging, so every so often, Tengen-sama integrates with a Star Plasma Vessel to rewrite his body's information, thus avoiding his will disappearing."

"The last time Tengen-sama had to do this process was 500 years ago."

"Yes, as explained by Suguro, your task is to accompany the girl to Tengen-sama and protect him during that time. Originally, you two would do this mission alone, but by order of the headquarters, a sorcerer from Kyoto School will join you."

"The circumstances of this sorcerer are special, and all you need to know is that his name is Onoki Kamizuru."

The last sentence was directed more to Gojo than Geto, and as expected, a look of realization appeared on his face.

As the heir to the Gojo clan, no information about Onoki was hidden from Gojo, from his circumstances and the incident that occurred at his birth to the fact that he lives at Kyoto Secondary School for Jujutsu.

"Fascinating," a wide smile appeared on his face.

The journey to the starship didn't take much time for Gojo and Geto; after half an hour, the two were outside the designated building directly.

"Where will we meet the other person participating in the mission again?" Geto asked when he didn't see anyone nearby. Suddenly, he felt a light touch on his shoulder.

Geto was truly surprised by the unexpected action and jumped backward as a reflex, taking a defensive stance. Nevertheless, to his astonishment, there were three people behind them and a rocky mass floating in the air.

In fact, there was only one person, the other two being a middle school girl and a woman dressed as a maid, both unconscious on the shoulders of the only person who remained conscious.

He was 150 cm tall, with long, shoulder-length purple hair and black eyes , he had a good builded body.

A handsome kid .

"My name is Onoki, Kamizuru Onoki. I can assume you are Geto Sujuro and Gojo Satoru. Nice to meet you."

He stood behind them without making any sound, with a friendly smile on his face.

However, both Gojo and Geto found themselves disturbed by the strangeness, in addition to appearing behind them without being felt.

He looked at them disdainfully, at least that's what Gojo felt, but Geto wasn't in agreement with him. After seeing that the other party wasn't an enemy, he abandoned his defensive stance and responded to Onoki.

"Yes, I'm Geto Suguro, and this idiot is Gojo Satoru," after saying that, he pointed to the people on Onoki's shoulders and continued, "Who are those ?"

"Oh, they're the Star Plasma Vessel and her maid. They didn't believe me when I told them I'm here to protect them, so I had to take some extreme measures. Don't worry, they'll wake up in a moment."

After saying that, he waved his hand, and the rock that was floating beside him fell to the ground vertically. After that, the thin layer of rocks on the top disintegrated, revealing a human head.

"These is an assassins from Q sent to kill the Star Plasma Vessel , you can find another one in the same condition in the hotel room where she was before. Although they're unconscious , they'll die if they stay without air for long."

Onoki's explanation left Gojo and Geto speechless; the matter was explained completely cleanly.

"All right, let's go then," Gojo said with a bigger smile on his face.
