In one of the luxurious hotels, Toji stood motionless by the window on the top floor, gazing out at the ants crawling outside.

The fact that he had been deceived by a child who hadn't even reached the age to enter Jojutsu High School had slightly hurt his pride.

But he wouldn't allow that to happen again.

The next time he encountered that mischievous brat, he would put him in his place.

Or so he thought, at least.

- On the other side -

The other group was on the rooftop of a building, discussing the previous events, while Riko and koroi, who had lost consciousness, leaned against one of the walls.

"Why did it take you both so long to deal with a unknown curse users?"

"Well, their cooperation was almost perfect, so it took some time to deal with them," Geto replied calmly, trying to appear confident, but Onoki's response revealed his lie.

"I bet you both wanted to play with them a little and show off your strength. At least I'm confident that this fool will do so."

A vein bulged on Gojo's forehead as Anoki pointed out his stupidity so he raised his hand to teach Onoki a lesson, but Onoki managed to evade his hand.

Geto intervened before things escalated further and asked Onoki, "What happened after you left?"

"We were attacked by someone. I didn't sense any curse energy from him, and his physical abilities were unmatched, plus he had a cursed tool in the form of a sword. He said his name was Fushiguro Toji."

'I was suppressed in physical strength, something that has only happened twice before and not in this world. His strength was on par with the fifth gate of Might Guy,' Onoki thought to himself.

Upon hearing Onoki's words, Geto and Gojo carefully pondered whether they had heard that name before, but unfortunately, no bells rang in their minds.

"I don't know anyone by that name, but his heightened physical strength could be due to a heavenly restrictionor he might have taken a binding vow to increase his physical prowess. "

"However, I haven't heard of anyone without cursed energy. Even ordinary humans have cursed energy. Perhaps his technique prevented you from sensing it," Gojo answered seriously before not wasting a second to revert to his childish self and mock me.

"Or maybe you're just terrible at sensing cursed energy to the point that you didn't feel it even when it was right under your nose. I knew you shouldn't have come with us. What were the elders thinking sending a kid with us?"

I ignored him and didn't stoop to his level. At this point, Riko and koroi woke up beside the wall.

'They woke up faster than before. Is it because I used less energy or because they got used to it?' I wondered internally.

Geto stepped forward to reassure them and confirm they were safe.

"I remember we were fleeing in the forest, and suddenly the world around me flipped. Then the person who attacked us talked about surrender... then I don't remember anything. How did we manage to escape? Did I defeat him or what?" Riko asked calmly, and koroi was also interested.

"After I distracted his attention, I rendered you both unconscious so you wouldn't get in my way. Then I created copies of us and left them to buy us some time while we escaped underground," I explained briefly.

Everyone listened to my explanation, even Geto and Gojo didn't expect that. It was one of the most common operations in the ninja world, and although it seemed simple when explained, it required precision and expertise. Only the most skilled ninja specialists in earth release could do it.

'Although this body hasn't been fully trained yet and hasn't completed its growth, the instinct engraved in my brain allowed me to do it in less than a second,' I thought internally.

"Fantastic!" x2 Koroi and Gojo said simultaneously with enthusiasm.

I didn't understand why Gojo was impressed, since he has six eyes and should be able to see the confined curse energy moving through the ground.

On the other hand, Riko seemed sad for some reason, which the other three also noticed.

Koroi approached Riko and asked, "Miss, what's wrong?"

Riko seemed hesitant to speak, but seeing our eyes watching her, she said, "I just wanted to say goodbye to my friends one last time before I left, but now that's not possible anymore."

We remained silent for a moment at her words, while the other three felt sorry for her, I felt puzzled.

'Wasn't she supposed to be aware that she would merge with Tenjen for several years, meaning she knew she would part with her friends? So why does she feel sad now?' I thought to myself.

Even Onoki was momentarily deceived by Riko's brave behavior before. Even though he knew she was just pretending, he forgot that she was just a teenage girl.

Gojo said, "While we can't go back to say goodbye to your friends, we can go to Okinawa and enjoy the golden sands and cold sea. After all, Tenjen-sama's orders are to fulfill your requests, so just ask."

At hearing that, Riko's morale rose again, and a beautiful smile formed on her tear-stained face.

On the other hand, Geto and koroi smiled gently at this scene.

As for Onoki, he didn't care. Since obeying the girl's wishes was his orders , he would continue to protect her until the time of integration.

Two days until the time of integration

- The Next Day -

The remaining day unfolded exactly as Onoki had expected. Not a minute passed without them being attacked, infiltrated, assassinated, poisoned, setting traps, and even shooting them with facking bazooka, which they used to blow up the entire hotel room.

Although the initial methods used were as clear as daylight to Onoki, they seemed more like some amateurs trying to show off in front of him. He was the expert in these kinds of things.

However, Onoki didn't expect them to use such a weapon, as Japan was a country with strict weapon laws, so he didn't expect the assassins to obtain one.

Since the bazooka didn't contain any cursed energy, he couldn't sense it until it was close.

Other than that, the assassins didn't pose any threat. However, due to their large number, Gojo contacted the first-year students of Tokyo High School, promising to give them good training.

On the beach, I sat beside a second-year student and a first-year student on each side.

The student on my right was a first-year named Kento Nanami, who seemed like a pessimistic person, disillusioned with life and wanting to commit suicide.

On my left was a second-year girl named Shoko Ieri, the girl Otahime talked about a lot.

I didn't find much value in conversation. After introductions and exchanging basic information, we sat watching Koroi, Gojo, Geto, Rico, and Haibara playing on the beach.

Yu Haibara, another first-year student, tricked by Gojo to make them deal with the assassins instead of us, had brought Shoko-san with them out of curiosity.

Unlike Kento Nanami next to me, Yu Haibara was an optimistic and cheerful person all the time. His hairstyle reminded me a little of Might Guy.

Suddenly, Riko came from afar to invite me to play with them in the water. There was no other option, as when I refused her request, she reminded me of "Tenjin-sama's" orders, and as a rule-abiding person, I was forced to play with them.

However, unlike playing with the ball as I thought, Gojo and Geto surrounded me from both sides and tried to dunk me underwater, all in jest, of course.

Unfortunately for them, they couldn't succeed. I stood on the water's surface calmly and watched their reactions.

There were some traits inherited in my cursed energy from chakra, it seems, among them the ability to stand on water and cling to surfaces. I discovered this when I began training to control cursed energy.

When I asked Yoshinobu-sensei about it, he denied the ability of cursed energy to do so, and no one had ever experimented with it before. Of course, I didn't tell him about my ability to do so.

The only reason I called him "sensei" was because he taught me the basics of Jojutsu and how this world works. Otherwise, he wasn't in the same position as Mu-sensei.

"Are you the messiah?"

Riko said in astonishment and pointed at me, and Yu Haibara was in the same state.

"No, I'm not. It's one of the traits of my cursed energy. It allows me to stand on water and climb trees with ease."

Upon hearing my vague explanation, interest grew in Gojo's eyes. I could guess that he would chase after me after the mission ends to discover all my secrets.

The rest of the day passed peacefully. We toured the rest of the city and saw various natural and historical sights.

And since there were no more assassins trying to kill Riko, Shoko-san returned to Tokyo with Nanami and Haibara, while we stayed an extra day here.

The next morning, we were already inside the barriers of Tokyo High School for Jojutsu, preparing to deliver Riko.
