"It's alright to say no, I won't be offended," Shen Li said when Di Tian fell silent for a while without giving an answer.
Di Tian hesitated. Actually, he wanted to agree, but he was feeling unsettled for some reason.
It was some sort of vague premonition that wasn't exactly his spiritual intuition that kicked in, seemingly hinting that he shouldn't agree. The sense was almost as though doing so would change the trajectory of his life.
"Is this what they call the pull of destiny?" Di Tian frowned as he realized this. In defiance, he immediately opened his mouth to speak, "I agr–"
"It's only been a day since he left with you, and you're already trying to poach him for yourself."
A familiar voice interrupted Di Tian's words. At the same time, all three of them present in the cave– Chen Qingke, Shen Li and Di Tian– instinctively turned to the entrance of the cave where a figure was standing.
