In their usual training grounds, Horo and Himora were cultivating and practicing their techniques.
Himora was trying to get used to her mutated [Flame wings] which was now [Wings of The Burning Fairy].
They were composed of her new Stainless Aura that looked slightly diamond like and translucent, but still seemed mostly ethereal and had fluidity.
She was also trying to find a way to merge with the [ Ethereal heart of the White volcano ], but was having difficulties. So far she only found a way to store it within her special meridians with the help of her spirit who she named "Myriad".
Myriad seemed extremely fond of the Jewel, that was shaped like a weird looking heart, and looked like it contained white lava. She somehow could enter the object and sleep in it as her meridians nurture them both.
Meanwhile Horo was trying to comprehend the his movement technique, the [Void Stepper Art]. He never really cultivated this technique in his past life because he affinity with the Space law was nonexistent, but he was hoping he could grasp it in this life. His basic speed with his techniques learned as an assassin could cover for him meanwhile.
Speaking of that he finally obtained skills related to his movement and stealth techniques from earth. They were [Shadow Steps] and [Shadow blend] which allowed him to move swift enough to leave afterimages and blend in with the shadows.
As he continued to gain skills he began to feel like his status was getting packed and wondered if he could fuse skills. He had no clue if that was possible, neither did Alma.
I decided he would figure out if others could fuse techniques and skills, and how it is done.
When they sense Oswalt approaching they stopped what they were doing to hide their abilities and also see what he wanted.
Oswalt approached with a solemn look on his face and asked "Did you guys encounter a young master of the Empyrean Sun Sect?"
Horo replied with a question in return "Yes, how do you know that? Were you tailing us?"
Oswalt responded seriously "No, him and his guardian came knocking at our door, they are currently in the main residence with the patriarch to extend a marriage proposal. How was your interaction with that young master?"
Horo's face immediately dropped, he got a bad feeling just like Oswalt did, he responded "I think they've come to bring trouble at the least because our interaction ended harshly."
He proceeded to recount the events to Oswalt which immediately gave him an idea of what was to come.
Oswalt said with urgency "Horo prepare for the worst case scenario we discussed previously. I have to take Himora to the patriarch, if things go left make sure you get away from here no matter what. Never give up on your sister, always look for her, she may become a victim of this circumstance."
Horo was smart enough to deduce what possibilities lie ahead. Him and Oswalt always went of a lot of scenarios and how to be prepared for them because Oswalt was aware of just how special the twins were. He also understood how cold this world was, it was dog eat dog, might makes right.
They both knew their family didn't have the strength or means to go against the Empyrean Sun Sect.
Horo's could only be ready to escape if things went left, extremely left…..
