Back in the training grounds before the TrueHeart family's demise, Oswalt was speaking with the twins.
He said "There are three possibilities that will determine the fate of Himora and the family."
He paused for a while then continued "The first one is Himora will just accept the proposal and fall into the hands of that snob young master, but there is no telling what his true intentions are."
"The second one is she'll reject and he wouldn't make a big deal out of it, or just continue with attempts to court and pursue her."
"And lastly, They will try to take her from the family by force, which could result in the destruction of the family."
He then turned to Horo and began speaking to him specifically with a serious face and deep voice "Horo, I need you to leave the family immediately and go fetch a city guard just to be prepared for the worst case scenario."
Horo asked a question " What am I suppose to say to bring the city guard here and it turns out not to be the worst case scenario."
Oswalt responded "It's better to be safe than sorry, I'm sure you can think of something to say other than the impending doom of your family to get a guard here. Now I need you to get going immediately before it's too late because I already sensed the usage of runes around the entire estate, I'm not sure what it's for but I have a feeling it's not good."
....
Horo's heart was pounding as he raced to find a city guard, but deep down inside he knew this was the reason he's been having the feeling of approaching tragedy.
He knew it was likely the third possibility that will take place and that his family will face extreme danger or eradication.
He still continued to do what he was told in hopes of being able to save his sister because he know that she would be alright even in the worst case scenario, since she was the reason Felix and his guardian was resorting to force in the first place.
With his swiftness and speed he had already traveled miles, found a city guards post within fifteen minutes and reported that he witnessed two murders, this was the excuse he decided to use in order to urge a guard or guards to hurry to his family's residence.
A couple of the guards immediately gathered rushed out of their post after gathering the information from Horo, they told him to follow and lead them to where the incident happened.
After about another fifteen minutes they were all in from of the TrueHeart's estate and some of the guards even recognized it.
They turned to question Horo because they didn't see any evidence of there being two people murder near by, but when they turned around they saw Horo wide eyed, on his knees, with tears running down his face.
They went to ask what's wrong but all he did was point at what they saw as the entrance to his family's estate.
One of the guards figured that he was saying it happened in the TrueHeart's residence.
They didn't really want to bother a family like the TrueHeart's even if they had declined they still weren't a normal family, but they had to do their job as this family couldn't compare to the city lord.
The guard approached the entrance and rung the bell hanging in the front but the moment he did it faded, and so did the rest of the entire estate.
When the illusion completely faded they were nothing but a gigantic charred pit. Everyone was baffled, well the guards were.
Horo had already seen past the illusion, that really had already ran out, with his Obsidian eye.
They wondered what really happened here and how was the young man related.
They all returned to their post and dragged Horo along for further investigation to get ti the bottom of what happened go such a previous decently powerful family.
Horo spoke with captain and vice captain in a comfortable room since he wasn't a suspect, and explained to them everything that really happened.
The guards looked at each other with grave faces and then the captain told his deputy to leave the room.
He then spoke to Horo with an extremely serious tone "Listen kid, I'm going to have to be completely honest with you."
He paused than continued "It's likely that your all alone now kid, to make matters worse, we can't do anything without any real evidence or proof, especially to a power like the Empyrean Sun Sect."
He wasn't finished speaking but he was interrupted.
Horo barked immediately and yelled "So, you guys are going to do nothing? What the fuck type of law enforcement are you."
He immediately burst into tears again and was banging on the desk in between them.
The captain let him express his emotion as he found that Horo was only nine years old with a special physique that made him look older, he told them that and more.
He thought to himself "Why, Why why why why. Why do I have to keep facing tragedy after tragedy. Damn this fucking tree on my back, just when I thought I could enjoy and cherish the first family I had they were taken away from me, just why.
Why...…"
