Chapter 20 - Life of the Cultivator

Horo nearly assumed he died all over again because all he could remember was using that strange treasure created by his masters before being in a baby's body all over again.

He got the feeling that he was definitely not dreaming and this was really a different life that seemed to be his.

After being reincarnated once and having lived in two different world's Horo can also slightly sense the origin of a world and this world was definitely neither Earth nor the Azure moon world.

Before Horo could think further he heard a familiar beep and voice.

"Soul Module Initiating..."

"Soul module evolving due to fusing with your origin"

" Integrating origin of Endless Bright Star of Eternal Heaven Realm "

" Soul module evolving due to integration of origin from a superior world "

" Upgraded Soul Module Stablizing "

" Soul Module Gained Sentience due to Pure Spiritual energy Integrated from origin "

After hearing the nearly the same words from his rebirth into the Azure Moon World, Horo attempted to pull up his interface, but recognized he had no control over the soul module.

That's when he noticed he didn't have control over anything of his bodily functions or even the thoughts of this version of him. It seemed he was just a passenger of this life.

At that exact thought he remembered the Tragic Lives Spell, He remembered the pain of his soul being torn apart, he remembered the scripture and everything concerning the spell.

After collecting his thoughts he was able to deduce with certainty that this must be one of the tragic lives one of the pieces of his soul experienced, and he is experiencing this phenomenon due to this part of him returning to its origin as stated in the scripture.

This lead him to wonder what fortune he would receive because according to the scripture if his soul is able to return to its origin which is him, he should receive tremendous blessings.

Horo decided to forget about the unnecessary thoughts and just enjoy the ride… or maybe not since this life should be a tragic one.

Horo recognized that he could hear this version of him thoughts, what he heard, feel his emotions, feel what he felt, and see everything exactly how he saw it.

He soon found that this version of him had the same abyssal hair that seemed to swallow light with the lightless eyes to match, as well as the trademark tree of tragedy, and lastly a version of the soul module as well. He determined that is because his traits, his soul module and the tree all fused with his origin before the severance. He also noted that this version of him seemed to not have the memories from his original life as Horo Solutus.

One more thing that was also consistent is the first tragedy he always experienced every life…

The death of his mother while giving birth to him!

This version of him didn't feel anything about her death, it was due to him not having any memories so he was just like any other new born baby. This didn't mean the him that was just a passenger of this life didn't feel anything, in fact he felt so much pain it seemed to cross over to this reality and cause the him from this world to begin screaming and burst out in tears.

Horo was stunned and didn't know if it was a coincidence or a paradox. Every one else in the room seen it as normal because babies are suppose to cry when they are first born into the world as that is what usually happens.

Speaking of everyone in the room there seemed to be 4 people in the room. The woman in labor, The midwife assisting in the labor, A man that had an eye on his forehead that released a transcendent heavenly presence that was gently rubbing against Horo's skin, and a child that seemed to be around the age of 10.

The man approached the lifeless body and said a strange statement while caressing her face, " Even after feeling this pain a million times, due to this heavenly bloodline I consider a curse that every one envies us for, I still feel my heart turning cold at the true sight of your preordained parting my love. I've decided to break the tradition our clan and will name him the name you decided and not the one the heavens decided, his name shall be…

Horo. "
