It was a few minutes late into the dark midnight for the city of Tokyo, the year being 1987. Almost all the lights of the city were out and everyone was already dozed off in their deep slumber or preparing to have a sweet dream.
However, there was one 16 year old boy who was still up in his apartment in Akasaka District within Minato Ward, seemingly trying to finish his university assignment. Hikaru Shimo, a socially awkward teen had only one thing separating himself from the other boys of his age: pure hard work. Hikaru had managed to finish off high school early in order to get into university. The reason being, in order to become a Senior PPA Agent, you need some form of Bachelor's Degree. A weird requirement, but Hikaru was motivated nonetheless.
The PPA or the Public Protection Agency is a top class international protection agency established soon after the Second World War in 1945, with the United Nations. The PPA consists of members that use supernatural powers through the use of Senzai, a latent invisible energy that is existing throughout our universe. The reason being to fend off threats to humanity caused by the Eclipses, demonic twisted creatures that are born in hell.
For Hikaru, it was a dream come true. He possessed Senzai himself and since he was a Shimo, the clan of people who can manipulate frost through Senzai, it was obvious he should go for it.
Currently, Hikaru was a recruit agent within the PPA, he had to show his potential by slaying Eclipses which would get the boy to Junior Agent.
"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn"
Hikaru says as he stretches his arms up in the air while on his chair.
"I'm tired as hell... I should have done this assignment earlier in the day... I procrastinated very badly..."
Hikaru was a bit upset over his tardiness and he still had a good chunk of work to do.
Hikaru looks over at his window and he keeps staring at the dead city whilst trying to drink his cup of tea. Unfortunately, the tea had gone cold and Hikaru immediately spat it out in the cup with a disgusted expression.
Hikaru was average heighted, he had pale white skin, short white hairs that had been overgrown on his right face, hiding his eye for some reason.
While gazing and wasting time at looking the outside of the window, Hikaru spots something that catches his eye. A small girl, probably in 4th grade was running down the street, afraid of something. Her movements were frantic and full of adrenaline.
Hikaru was puzzled by this revelation, but something catched the corner of his eye, there was a creature, brown skinned, It looked like a Demogorgon, with two faces and four arms shaped like tentacles.
Hikaru grinned in action. It was an eclipse and the news of Hikaru saving this girl from this beast would immediately give him a promotion and a good fame. Obviously, he would do it for the sake of it as he is blessed.
Hikaru ran back from the window into his wardrobe, wearing his gray tracksuit jacket on top of plain black tee and gray pants. He also grabbed his sword and ran into the the window, jumping out of it and having a dramatic entrance where he would backflip mid air. The demogorgon looks up at the boy and the little girl looks at him in hope.
Hikaru suddenly failed his landing mid air and crashed down on the street with his butt. The girl looking confused behind Hikaru and the Demogorgon confused as well.
"Ow Ow that hurts!"
Hikaru complains as he stands up trying to wipe the dust off his pants.
The Demogorgon rushes at Hikaru trying to get a cheap shot, but Hikaru managed to draw his sword, blocking the whip attack. The sheer force did push Hikaru way back next to the little girl.
"This guy is nuts"
Hikaru thinks in his mind as he keeps a serious expression.
"HEY! girl! stay behind! Do not come in the line of fire!"
Hikaru warns the little girl who nods in reply.
The Demogorgon starts screaming loudly and whips out four of his arms at Hikaru. The arms were flexible and extendable. Hikaru gets in stance and starts blocking the whips with his sword infused in Senzai to enhance its durability and striking potency.
For a good minute the demogorgon unleashes these swarms of attacks and Hikaru kept defending. Hikaru was trying to get the demogorgon in a trap.
"Ngh- If he whips at least three of his arms at me, I should be able to cut it and manage an offensive maneuver and attack him head on..."
Hikaru strategizes while the quick fury of attacks keep coming.
Suddenly, the Demogorgon threw three of his whips at Hikaru and Hikaru grinned. Hikaru then started running towards the attack and he slides down just before the whips touch his head, then in a quick swing of his sword, Hikaru cuts the whips off and and lunges at the demogorgon, stabbing its throat with the sword.
The Demogorgon was screaming in pain, his three arms limp and his other unable to move due to incapacitation by Hikaru. Hikaru was stuck mid air on the Demogorgon, while holding his sword deep in its throat, keeping his grip on the creature.
"Eclipses should die if they sustain enough damage or loose the stamina to regenerate from wounds... It seems this guy is a bit weak."
Hikaru chuckles and he penetrates the throat deeper, but suddenly one of the arms of the Demogorgon grabs Hikaru and slams him onto the ground, but Hikaru held its arm with his hand.
"You little- I'll show you!"
Hikaru groans as he begins to unleash something:
"Frost Senzai Art: Deepfreeze!"
Hikaru says as he begins pumping senzai full of freezing capabilities into the bloodstream of the demogorgon, making his this arm freeze and get heavier. The effect is so pungent that it immediately freezes the Demogorgon's lower right arm and incapacitates any movements from that limb.
Hikaru then slides back away from the Demogorgon and starts getting ready for one final strike.
The Demogorgon itself begins to scream violently and it places all of its remaining arms into the street road.
Hikaru begins running towards the creature, but the Demogorgon starts lifting the street and it pulls it out causing a long sinkhole to be formed approaching Hikaru.
Hikaru then boosts all of his Senzai output at his calve muscles and jumps right before the sinkhole passes by his feet and stares at the demogorgon mid air while preparing for one thrust of an attack.
Hikaru zooms into the head of the demogorgon with a thrust of his sword into the head of one and he then starts slicing the body left right while still mid air and batters the Eclipse.
Suddenly, the ground beneath them collapses and Hikaru starts to falls down into the sinkhole alongside the battered corpse of the Demogorgon..
