"5 months, 5 months with all the best medicines being taken"
This was the grand medic Chiyo's conclusion after inspecting a sexually satisfied Tion, while she had praised Leah for being able to quickly dampen and suppress his mana deviation, in the end, while the rest of his body had been able to escape serious damage, his coils and core had not been so lucky.
Right now, while Tion could run around and fuck as he liked, anything related to mana was strictly forbidden for him and even with him being provided with the best of medicine and a sage-level medical mage, it would still take him 5 months to be fully healed.
"Urghh, I just feel like punching someone," Tion said frustrated at the fact that he would have to be inactive for 5 months, the thought of not being able to practice his techniques and go out on a mission vexed Tion and he couldn't help but be angry at his body for first of all allowing the mana deviation to happen but then he remembered the reason for it.
****flashback*****
Sitting side by side on the bed, was a naked Tion who had just been examined and was now receiving a blowjob from Ciara and beside Tion was Chiyo who could careless about the activities of the youngsters beside her and was instead focused on looking at the papers in her hand.
"From what Leah said, you were performing a high-rank technique and then when you got ambushed you recklessly tried to cancel it and then start another one.
While most times, people who do this lose control of their mana for some seconds and get hit by a load of pain, there are also those unlucky people who instead experience mana deviation and this could be for a couple of reasons.
In your case, you experienced mana deviation because you were channelling large amounts of mana through your coils, a quantity which your coils were not ready to handle."
"I see," Tion said and though truly he understood what Chiyo was saying especially considering his absorbing of avatar spirits to increase his mana capacity might have a hand in it, Tion was more interested in a solution.
"So, it's already bad enough that I'm being told not to use my mana for 5 months, how do I prevent this from happening in future."
"Well, with this episode, I don't expect you to be having another mana deviation in sometime, till maybe you gain another sudden increase in your mana quantity.
Overall, you should be okay after you heal from this."
*******flashback end******
Chiyo's words on the cause of Tion's mana deviation had been spot on, but now the issue was whether Tion was ready to give up on his ability to absorb avatar spirits and turn them into mana which would be used to increase his core size.
"No way I'm giving up such an advantage I need every edge I can get if I want to be the strongest"
Groaning at his lack of ability to do what he wanted, Tion looked up and nodded at the guard who saluted him as he passed through a set of iron doors and continued his trek through a white-tiled corridor.
Feeling powerless with his inability to control his circumstances Tion put his hands in his pocket and stared and the white ceiling, admiring how spotless it was and then he stopped.
As the prince of the Mamonth Empire and most importantly the very dearly loved son of Ragnar Denise, anyone who knew how much his mother loved him would be shocked to see him walking around the capital all alone even if it was just the royal prison.
Tion had once asked Leah why he was actually allowed this much freedom and the woman had simply told him that it was because at all times except when he left the capital, he was being protected by a squad of shadows.
Though the term shadow was a sharp contrast to Denise's love for white things, it was the name of the group that acted as Denise's guards or more appropriately helpers considering how overly strong the woman was.
"Surely there is no way these guys are actually secretly hiding somewhere and watching over me right now considering how white this ceiling is right" Tion asked himself and though he would have liked to think he was correct, remembering how obsessed his mother was with protecting him, he knew he was wrong.
Taking his mind off thoughts of whether or not he was being watched over, Tion continued his walk across the corridor till eventually he reached a door which he knocked on and went into when it was opened.
"Ahhhh, hello Potters" Tion said, his smile quite wide as he looked at the big man who was sitting behind a desk, dressed in green prisoner uniform.
"Do I Know you?" Potters asked a frown on his face as he observed Tion from head to toe.
"Common on now old pal, don't be like that, think hard, I'm the guy who wanted to end you with lightning arrows," Tion said with a teasing grin.
"Oh," Potters said as he leaned into his chair.
"You are quite young, younger than I had assumed. Who are you?"
"Tion," the white-haired boy simply replied and then moved to take a seat on the chair on the side of the table.
In the room with Tion were two men dressed in thick black trousers and jacket and these men both silently stood on both Potters side.
After giving out his name, though he excluded his surname and gave no other hint, Tion expected a man like Potters to need no further information to figure out who he was, and in the end, he was not disappointed.
Just as Tion sat down, Potters's eyes shot open in shock and realization and he began looking at Tion with fear and terror, his mouth opening and closing.
"You shouldn't think much about these things, you can't affect the past" Tion said and within seconds Potters rapidly calmed down and retained a bit of his aloofness.
"Your status will explain why the 'protector of Ice' will personally come to save you" Potters said looking Tion up and down.
"Yeah, you probably should have stuck to the script if you didn't want to meet her" Tion said and then before Potters could reply, Tion's body slightly shook and the rare feeling of his body opening and trying to suck in the things around him filled him.
